4-days Sailing Boat & Sea Kayak Trip in Crete & Gavdos, Greece

Tour Description

Our sailing boat and sea kayaking multi-day trip has been designed for active and independent sea kayakers who want to combine the ultimate sailing & kayaking trip in one trip. Just look at the photos! We can run the trip from April to late October. Maximum 6 participants per trip. The trip can be fully customized based on participants skills.

For non-experienced paddlers, there will be plenty of coaching to improve your skills while paddling in the southernmost island in Europe. The route itself is one of the best in Greece if not the best. Superb beaches, impressive rock arches and crystal clear warm water are waiting for you. During the trip, we will have enough time to snorkel and explore parts of the coast. When you book for this trip please write as much as possible about your experience in either kayaking or sailing; that will help us to alter the trip accordingly.

EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

The trip can be customized to do either more kayaking or sailing. New paddlers are welcome to join. Experienced paddlers can join a longer distance paddling.

Groups of 4 or more can customize the trip do paddle or sail more or even spend time coaching. This trip has it all!

ACCOMMODATION, FOOD & OTHER DETAILS

Our sailing boat is a Bavaria 47; that is 15 meters long, (47ft) that can accommodate up to 6 clients (apart from crew and kayak guides) on her large deck as well as in its four comfortable cabins (one cabin is used by the crew). The cabin in the stern has a large bed while the two front ones have one double and one single each of them. There are three WCs, a large kitchen equipped with a fridge and oven and even a spacious dining room to relax ‘ indoors’. Many of our guests also choose to sleep on the deck of the yacht, having the experience of being under the stars! There is an option to overnight in tents; if this is what you prefer please let us know when you book.

Nearly all food that we serve is organic, only local and very difficult to beat the local Cretan cuisine!  Vegetarians and vegans are more than welcome; please state if you are vegan or vegetarian while booking. All you need to carry with you on the trip is some snacks while paddling. We will get supplies before we depart and sort out any problems or questions you might have.

Regarding paddling equipment if you are not already aware we got the largest and better fleet in Greece and one of the best in the world! Sea kayaks from Nigel Dennis, Valley, Northshore and P&H are available for you, plastic or fiberglass.
