Paddle Quest LLC offers two commission models:
Standard Model – 10% Commission
Paddle Quest LLC charges:
- 10% commission
- Payment processing fees (Stripe or similar)
All applicable fees are deducted before payout. Providers are paid after the tour is completed, minus these fees.
Deposit Model – 15% Commission
Providers may choose to use the Deposit Payment Model.
Under this model:
- Paddle Quest LLC charges a 15% commission on the total tour price.
- The Provider sets a required deposit amount in the booking system.
- The minimum deposit must be at least 15% of the total tour price but may be higher at the Provider’s discretion.
Customer Payment Structure:
- The customer pays the deposit through PaddleBooking.com at the time of booking.
- The remaining balance is paid directly to the Provider, according to the Provider’s agreement with the customer (e.g., upon arrival, several weeks before the tour, or another agreed date).
Deposit Distribution:
- The full deposit amount is transferred immediately to the Provider after booking confirmation.
- Paddle Quest LLC deducts its 15% commission from the total tour price.
If the Provider sets a deposit higher than 15%, the excess amount (above the 15% commission) belongs to the Provider.
Non-Refundable Deposit Notice:
If the Provider chooses, the deposit may be marked as non-refundable in case of customer cancellation.
The Provider must clearly state in the tour Description section:
- That a deposit is required
- The deposit amount
- That the deposit may be non-refundable
- When and how the remaining balance must be paid
The payment schedule for the remaining balance is solely an agreement between the Provider and the customer.
Standard 10% Model
Providers are paid after the tour is completed, minus applicable fees (commission and processing fees).
15% Deposit Model
- The deposit (as defined by the Provider) is transferred to the Provider immediately after booking confirmation.
- The remaining balance is collected directly by the Provider from the customer according to their mutual agreement.
- Paddle Quest LLC is not responsible for collecting the remaining balance under this model.
5.1 Disputes and Responsibility for Remaining Balance
Under the 15% Deposit Model, Paddle Quest LLC acts solely as a marketplace platform facilitating the initial deposit transaction.
Paddle Quest LLC is - - not responsible- - for:
- Collection of the remaining balance
- Payment delays between customer and Provider
- Disputes regarding the remaining payment
- Refund requests related to the remaining balance
- Chargebacks or financial claims connected to payments made directly to the Provider
- Breach of private payment agreements between Provider and customer
Any agreement regarding the remaining balance is strictly between the Provider and the customer.
The Provider assumes full responsibility for:
- Communicating payment terms clearly
- Collecting the remaining balance
- Handling cancellations related to the remaining balance
- Managing disputes related to direct payments
Paddle Quest LLC shall not be involved in or liable for any claims arising from such arrangements.
If the Provider cancels the tour:
Provider may be removed if they:
Provider agrees to indemnify and hold Paddle Quest LLC harmless from any:
arising from Provider’s services.
