Thank you for choosing Jersey Shore Whale Watch aboard the Jersey Girl.
Our vessel is located at the far north end of Belmar Marina. Since there are many boats in the marina, please be sure you are boarding the Jersey Girl.

⏰ The 15-Minute Boarding Rule
The boat departs exactly at the scheduled departure time.
All passengers must be checked in and on board at least 15 minutes before departure.
The departure time shown on your reservation is when the boat leaves the dock—not when you should arrive at the marina.
We recommend arriving 30–45 minutes early.
Parking is free, but during the summer the marina can become very busy. Finding a legal parking space, walking to the boat, and checking in all take time.
If you enjoy cutting things close, please understand that you’re taking a risk. The Jersey Girl waits for no one. Just like an airline, once boarding is complete we must perform required passenger counts, safety procedures, and prepare for departure. We cannot delay departure or return to the dock for late arrivals.
Many guests simply arrive early, relax in their air-conditioned vehicle, enjoy the marina, or have a bite to eat before boarding begins.

Please remember that you’re visiting the Jersey Shore during one of the busiest tourism seasons of the year. Traffic can back up unexpectedly on the Garden State Parkway, Route 35, Route 71, and local roads simply because thousands of people are heading to the shore.
Give yourself plenty of time and start your adventure relaxed.

Light rain generally does not affect our schedule.
The Captain continuously monitors marine weather and sea conditions. If weather or safety conditions require a cancellation, we will notify guests by text message and email.
