During the spring, ample rain coupled with alpine snow melt guarantees high water levels with strong currents and big waves which make rafting at this time very exciting. In summer the water level decreases, resulting in a slower, calmer course ideal for families.The Soča is open to tourists from March until October each year.

Itinerary :
Rafting Soča, Bovec
Meeting 15 minutes before departure at the agency of Adventure Center Bovec for admin
First briefing and personal equipment pick up with your professional guide
*Drive to the river (10 minutes)*
Changing and dressing in rafting equipment, comprehensive safety talk
**Approximately 1.5 hours rafting!**
*Drive back to Bovec (10 minutes)*

Conditions
- Participants under 18 years of age must provide parental or a legal guardian’s consent.
- Each participant should bring his/her own personal swimwear and towel. It is also recommended to bring Swimsuit, towel, small day bag, money for photos and souvenirs.
- Experienced and certified guides, Rafting equipment (wetsuit, boots, helmet, PFD) are included.
- Requirements: Swimming abiliy, Recommended but not required: Minimum age: 6, Max. weight: 125kg
- All rafting participants must be able to swim, be psychologically and physically healthy and not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

###Please note that the tour price does not include the mandatory river permit fee, which ranges from €3 to €15.5 per person depending on the chosen river section. The classic Srpenica 1-Trnovo route requires a €15.5 permit as it covers two sections. During periods of high water, a €3 fee applies to the upper section. This fee must be paid on-site. - Life Jackets: Wearing a life jacket is mandatory for all participants.
- Helmets: Helmets are provided and must be worn during the tour.
- River Conditions: Be aware of the river conditions and any potential hazards, such as rocks, rapids, and currents.
- Wildlife: Respect wildlife and maintain a safe distance from any animals you may encounter.
- Sun Protection: Apply sunscreen before the tour, wear a hat, and consider sunglasses (if needed) with a strap.
- Hydration: Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, especially on hot days.
- Eat a Meal: Please make sure to eat a proper meal before your tour. Don't come on an empty stomach. A good breakfast or lunch will provide you with the energy you need for paddling and enjoying your adventure.
- Emergency Procedures: Familiarize yourself with the emergency procedures explained by your guide.

What to Do in Case of an Emergency:

- Remain Calm: Stay calm and assess the situation.
- Signal for Help: If you need assistance, signal your guide or other participants.
- First Aid: If someone is injured, provide basic first aid if you are able.
- Emergency Contact: In case of a serious emergency, contact the local emergency services (112) or follow your guide's instructions. Your guide has a mobile phone in a dry box.
