Rates
**2-4 days hire (9am - 3pm):** $50 per board per day (to close of business on day of return)
**5-7 days hire (9am - 3pm):** $45 per board per day (to close of business on day of return)

Duration
2 day - 7 day hire
Each day’s (full or part day) hire is a business day period so pick up is between 9am - 10am and drop off by close of business on booked day of return, however many days later. Or by agreed arrangement prior to uplifting.

Multi-Day Hire
Come and hire a paddleboard from us to enjoy your own self-guided adventures on the water. Hire is available for 1 - 7 days and includes:
- Moana inflatable Stand-Up Paddleboard (10’6 x 33” x 5”)
- Paddle
- Buoyancy Aid
- Ankle Leash
- Hand Pump
- Bag to pop it all in
A security deposit of a held credit card number with security code is required (with signed authorisation). This is only debited if necessary, for loss, late return, cleaning or damage - and is held until the board is returned.
You need to have some experience paddle boarding to take our boards away with you on your own unsupervised adventure. To hire from us, you need to be able to:
- Swim and comfortable in the water
- Know how to paddle in wind and chop
- Self rescue (get back on your board)
- Have paddled on the sea or rivers before
- Read weather apps and understand tides
- Make safe decisions about the conditions and your paddling ability
We sell dry bags and phone cases in our shop too, if you need one of those. And our friendly team will send you on your way with some advice on where to go on your adventures!

We are stoked to hear you are off on your own adventures, you are going to love it! Get some SUP inspo from our [Places to Paddle blog](https://www.moananzsup.co.nz/blogs/news/top-10-paddle-boarding-destinations-in-the-top-of-the-south-island) and start planning your trip.
You will receive an online pre-arrival waiver from our friends at Wherewolf which everyone in your booking needs to fill in. Please complete this before you come and collect your board from us.
Please arrive between 8-9am to collect your kit from us and head off on your adventure. Please return the kit between 8-9am on the day of return too.
## Your hire includes

- Ankle Leash
- Hand Pump
- Paddle bag to pop it all in
##What's required
- Buoyancy aids and ankle leashes must be worn at all times on the water (NZ Maritime Law)
- No paddling on whitewater, stick to ungraded rivers (flat water) only, lakes and paddling in safe sheltered bays on the sea
- A $200 security deposit is required for the duration of your hire, returned when you return your board back to us
- Wear water shoes when launching and paddling somewhere with rocks
- No dogs allowed on the boards

##Where to go
Our home is at Tahunanui beach, next to the Abel Tasman statue car park on Bisley Walk. This is at the end of the beach closest to Rocks Road. Parking is free, look for our red flags here by the public board washing station and you can't miss us! If we are looking closed, head up to Moana SUP & Surf Shop on Rocks Road, just over the main road.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your booking, we ask for 24 hours notice by email or phone call. Any no shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are fully chargeable.
