- **Enjoy a leisurely paddle around Back Creek taking in the beautiful views and breathtaking houses that line the waterway. Whether you are a novice or seasoned paddler, we have the waterways and equipment for you. Our mission is to create a fun and most importantly safe experience for all! Our team will provide basic paddling instruction, technique, and rules of the waterway before you depart.**

- **Kayaking is a great option for beginners who are new to paddle sports as well as for people who want to paddle with another person. We have high-quality sit on top single and double seater kayaks available to rent. Explore Back Creek, a protected waterway that offers beautiful views of plenty of wildlife and million dollar homes, boats and marinas. For the adventurous and seasoned paddlers, head out to the entrance to the bay for a scenic view of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and feel the energy of the “Sailing Capital of the US!”**

## Please arrive 20 minutes before your reservation
*If you arrive late for your appointment, you will be bumped to the next hour, and your equipment may be rented out for that hour (if on water over your time, you may be charged for an additional hour)*
** Please park in the Leasing Center parking lot and follow the waterfront walking trail to the Capital SUP trailer and launch site.The Capital SUP check-in area we are located between C dock and B dock, if you plug in 680 Americana you will find our blue trailer. There is also public parking along Americana Drive. Please do not park in residential areas**

You are responsible for keeping track of your time on the water. Please bring a watch, or we sell waterproof phone cases for $25.00 (rent for $5) to store your phone while on the water. If you go over 15 minutes past your rental time, you will be charged for an additional hour.
##Know Before You Go:
- At Capital SUP safety comes first! We do not allow paddlers to enter the water when there are signs of lightning, thunder, or high winds. Life jackets must be worn at all times.
- We still allow paddling in light rain! Rentals/Tours/Classes still take place rain or shine, unless otherwise notified.
- Management actively monitors the weather and if the radar suggests heavy rains or storms we will let you know if we have to cancel activities due to unsafe conditions.
- Any bookings that have to be canceled by Capital SUP will be credited for future service. This rain check is redeemable all season long and is transferrable to others.
- Please let our staff know about any Mini-Lessons or Phone Case Rentals booked in advance
- If you are interested in a membership, please speak with the manager on duty for a discounted rate!
