About schooner *America 2.0* & schooner *Adirondack*
Past meets present when sailing aboard the elegant and swift Schooner *America 2.0*. *America 2.0* is designed after the famous Schooner *America* that was built in 1851 in New York harbor. That same year, *America* won the international race that is now known today as the America's Cup, thus showcasing American skill in building fast, elegant, and efficient ships.
Fast forward to 2011, Scarano Boat Building in Albany, NY takes classic American values of craftsmanship and efficient design and adds in 21st century concepts--modern materials and eco-friendly propulsion-- creating the most prestigious state-of-the-art sailing ship of our time, *America 2.0*.
The schooner *Adirondack* is an homage to the pilot schooners of the 1890s. Swift and maneuverable, she is also well laid for comfortable seating on deck. We take great pride in sharing our sailing yachts with you. Our staff is known for their amazing hospitality, and are all professionally trained and experienced in sailing our yachts.
