About
- Join an existing group lesson or bring your own group! Student to instructor ratio is 3/4:1.
- Our surf instructors will teach the group proper techniques for paddling, positioning, standing, and getting through waves.
- Each lesson is a "progressive" surf lesson taught based on the groups collective existing ability level focusing at the start. The beginning surfer. There will be some surfers going faster and some surfers going slower. And yes, surf leashes are mandatory for what we're going to be doing because if you don't have one you'll be exhausted in 10 minutes chasing your surfboard every time you fall. And fall you will! Off of every wave! But you will have the energy to advance properly as a surfer BECAUSE you have a leash. Surf leashes are MANDATORY and yes we provide them GLADLY.

Itinerary:

**Total time for this adventure is roughly two hours. We do about 15-20 minutes of teaching on land with about 70-90 minutes in the water with about 15-20 minutes of suiting up in the front of the lesson and about 15-20 minutes taking wetsuit off finishing up.

Booking Notes

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your surf lesson time!

We provide all the equipment that you need!
- Surfboard
- Wetsuit
- Surf leash
- And the ocean!

So all you need to bring with you is:
- Swimsuit on under your dry clothes that you'll be getting back into
- A towel to dry off
- Sunscreen
- A bottle of water
- A big smile!

Surfing only works if you're smiling. :)

We call this a 2 hour adventure broken into parts. You will doing about 90 minutes of actual surfing most likely with about 15 minutes of prep time on each side. Prep is part of this adventure and it is with anything, needed to create a worthwhile experience. An 8:30 or 10:30 surf lesson (or whatever time you choose) we actually meet 15-30 minutes prior so we can get you suited up on time and we like to LAUNCH our surf lesson at the :30 mark. Not get there at the :30 time and on from there. We do about 15-20 minutes doing a safety talk and practice popping up on the surfboard and off we go.

We usually finish up around the :00 of the following hour and some people take longer to get out of the water so we usually finish up and are walking back to the truck where we started about the :00 to :15 part of the hour making this two hours for this adventure experience.

Some people have more energy and you and your group can most always rent the equipment you used in the surf lesson (not the 8:30 lesson and get some more waves on and into the afternoon, if the conditions agree and we can play that by ear on the day of your adventure.

Cancellation Policy

Here's the thing. We're easy. And this is YOU'RE calling US for help so that's what we do. We steer you towards the best times of the day because surfing doesn't happen just ALL DAY LONG like people might think, but the times when surfers go is on God's time. We're the locals so we know when the best time of those times to because we see it every day.

Cancellation goes as such. If you communicate with us and you have an family emergency, no problem. We will totally get it. Just communicate with us the night before (or hopefully before that if you can is better) and we'll give you a full refund. However, if you call the morning of and you just had too many lemonades the night before, no diggity. You called us remember? And if you're going to sign up then that means you're going to show up. Your But if you no call and no show....again no diggity. Just communicate the best that you can and Jonny's pretty understanding, if you give him notice.
