Pricing
Private Vessel Charter
**4 Hours – $1,399 (up to 6 guests)**
Charter rates adjust based on overall vessel utilization and group size configuration:
**7–9 Guests:** Adjusted vessel charter rate (+$200)
**10–13 Guests:** Adjusted vessel charter rate (+$400)
Maximum capacity: 13 guests.
This experience is offered as a **bareboat charter**. The charterer assumes temporary possession and control of the vessel for the duration of the charter period.
A qualified, properly licensed captain may be selected and contracted separately by the charterer. Fuel usage is calculated based on actual consumption. Customary crew gratuity is not included.

## Your Private Yacht Experience
Your reservation is structured as a private **bareboat (demise) charter** in accordance with U.S. Coast Guard regulations.
For the duration of your charter, the **Primary Charterer assumes exclusive use, possession, and control of the vessel**.
As required under U.S. Coast Guard guidelines, the captain and any crew are **separately selected and engaged by the Charterer**. Kokomo Charters acts solely as a charter broker, coordinating documentation and logistics to ensure a seamless experience.

## Selecting Your Captain
As the Primary Charterer, you will independently select the **USCG-licensed captain** who will operate the vessel during your charter.
You may:
• Engage your own qualified captain
*(subject to vessel owner approval and insurance requirements)*
• Select from the **informational roster of independent, insurance-approved captains** included within your **Captain Services Acknowledgment**
This roster contains captain names and contact information for individuals who are familiar with the vessel and approved under the vessel owner’s insurance.
You may contact any captain on the list directly to confirm availability and make your selection.
Once you have selected your captain, simply notify our team and we will assist with coordination logistics.

## Payment & Additional Items
The remaining vessel balance will be processed **5 days prior to your charter** using the card on file.
Fuel is charged based on actual usage.
Gratuity is **customary and discretionary**, with **15–20% of the charter price** being typical, and is paid directly to your independently selected captain and any crew at the conclusion of your charter.
If preferred, we are happy to facilitate a seamless, cashless option.

### Guest-Initiated Cancellation

A full refund of charter fees paid to the vessel owner will be issued.
- **Within 5 days of departure:**
Charter fees are non-refundable.

### Weather Determination
Safety is the highest priority.
For this bareboat charter, the **independently selected captain** will make the final determination on the morning of the charter based on actual marine conditions and forecasts.
- Light rain or overcast conditions do not typically constitute grounds for cancellation.
- If the captain determines conditions are unsafe to operate, the charter will be considered weather-canceled.
If a weather cancellation is declared by the captain:
- The parties will first attempt to reschedule the charter.
- If rescheduling is not mutually possible, charter fees paid to the vessel owner will be refunded.

In the rare event the vessel becomes unavailable due to mechanical failure or other unforeseen circumstances:
