Explore the Backwaters of Folly Beach Like a Local

Cruise the waterways of Folly Beach on this private, flexible boat tour designed to experience the area the way locals do. We’ll look for dolphins, weave through tidal creeks, and explore the estuary at an easy pace.
Depending on conditions and group interest, the tour may include a visit to Morris Island and its lighthouse, time for shelling, swimming, or walking along a quiet beach. The smaller boat allows access to shallow creeks and tighter waterways, offering a closer look at marsh life and coastal wildlife.
This is a private tour with just your group and the captain. Dogs are welcome—please let us know in advance if you plan to bring one.
Cancellation & Weather Policy
Cancellations within 14 days of your tour are non-refundable.
Trip Protection is available at checkout and allows cancellation or rescheduling up to 24 hours prior to departure in qualifying circumstances.
Weather decisions are made approximately one hour before departure. Do not rely on weather apps, as coastal conditions change quickly.
If we cancel due to unsafe conditions, you will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a refund.

Because boat charters difficult to rebook, we maintain a firm cancellation policy.
Cancellations
* Cancellations within 48 hours of your tour are non-refundable.
* We do offer Trip Protection, which allows cancellation or rescheduling up to 24 hours prior to departure in qualifying circumstances.
* No-shows and late arrivals are not eligible for refunds. (We will hold the boat and try to accommodate as long as it doesn’t interfere with other tours.
Weather
Charleston’s coastal weather is highly localized and constantly changing.
* We do not cancel due to weather until approximately one hour before departure.
* Please do not rely on weather apps or extended forecasts. The Folly Bubble is a real thing. It can be raining downtown and Sunny on Folly.
* If conditions are deemed unsafe by the captain, you will be contacted directly to discuss options.
If we cancel due to unsafe conditions, you will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. If the tour runs as scheduled and you choose not to attend, standard cancellation policies apply.
