About
Offered as a week-long camp from 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm, surfers will learn to surf with a group of instructors that are Mavericks surfers, lifeguards, and teachers. These diverse backgrounds ensure a safe & unforgettable experience.

Surfers will learn about ocean currents and water safety which builds a solid foundation of knowledge and respect for the ocean as well as a boost in personal confidence and self esteem.

Please note that we do not have a physical location so we will meet in the parking lot across the street from 531 Obispo Rd El Granada CA 94019. Look for a big beach parking lot with a skate ramp. You can also type in Surfers Beach in maps.

#Where To Meet On Monday ?

Camp will be from 9am-12pm M-F at Surfers Beach a.k.a. Jetty

Drop off Monday morning will be in the dirt parking lot across the road from 531 Obispo road, El Granada. We are meeting up here the first day so we can give kids their wetsuits for the week. Please head to the BLACK FLAG in the parking lot to get wetsuits.

#When Should I Arrive?

For the first day please show up at 8:30 am to allow for checking in and getting wetsuits on. Kids are welcome to bring their own surfboards and/or boogie boards.

#Where Is Pickup?

Pickup and Drop-off for the rest of the week will be on the beach to the left of the staircase. Show up a few minutes before 9 am so you have some time to apply sunscreen and drink some water before camp starts.

#What Should I Bring?

- Wetsuit (if you have your own)
- Towel
- Sunscreen, hat, and sun glasses
- Snacks and water for a quick 15 minute break midway through the camp
- Backpack for all your gear
- Kids are welcome to bring their own surfboard/boogie boards

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made within 14 days of the start date are not eligible for a refund. You may reschedule for another week of camp or receive credit for the 2026 surf season.

Reserving your spot requires a $50 non-refundable/ non-transferable deposit. Under no circumstances are we able to refund or transfer a deposit.
