If you're looking for the best value Houseboat hire look no further than our 45 footer houseboat. She has the capacity to sleep 10 people and has an open plan layout perfect for enjoying the amazing 360 water views.
This vessel has a separate lounge and galley (kitchen), with a dining room that can be converted into private double sleeping quarters.
The forecastle (front deck) has ample room to seat all persons and has in built benches, perfect for sunbaking, dolphin spotting, fishing and relaxing.
The galley is fitted with a regular kitchen fridge, 4 burner gas stove with grill and oven.
The kitchen is also fully stocked with pots, pans, plates and cutlery etc.
The top deck has an optional hammock, table and chairs and also a bimni cover for those hot summer days.
The stern deck has plenty of room for storage, fishing and is equipped with a large icebox and 10 Person Webber BBQ to cook up your days catch.

Booking Notes
**Cancellation Policy:**
1. Cancellations must be made a minimum of 60 days prior to the commencement of the hire for a refund to be payable with a 20% cancellation fee
2. For cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the commencement of the hire refunds will only be made if the same boat has been hired for the same period at the same price.
3. If there is excessive rain on the day of your hire, we will reschedule or accomodate you (excluding houseboats)
4. If we deem the weather to be too dangerous such as high winds, cyclone, flooding we will reschedule your booking at no charge.
Houseboat Policy Additions
A $250 date change fee will apply if we have the availability and are able to reschedule your booking. Travel insurance is recommended for Houseboat Bookings incase you need to alter your travel plans.
Groups under 40 years of the same sex require $1500 bond, plus valid credit card details to hire due to morons. If you try and play games to avoid this we have the right to terminate your hire with no refund, so just don't.
**$1,000 Security Bond Payment Details ($1500 same sex groups under 40):**
If you have not paid your security deposit yet, you can do so via online bank transfer or via cash on the day of hire.
You may also pay via bank counter deposit at any NAB branch or post office.
Your security bond will be refunded minus fuel and any incidentals within 7 days of your hire end date.

###**Driving Houseboats**
Houseboats are large, heavy and do require some skill and common sense to drive. We will provide full training as well as asses your competency and will advise the best locations to motor to based on your desired vacation goals. We also can accompany you out to a location, and anchor the vessel so that you have peace of mind and are confident in how to operate the vessels.
We have also fitted our houseboats with GPS Sonar which will help you identify shallow water, speed and also water temp.
We recommend downloading the following free APP's that will help you with Navigation and also weather conditions.
Navionics - has a 2 week free trail, so activate this app just prior to your vacation. It gives super accurate navigation charts real time.

###**Hire Times:**
DEPARTURE AND ARRIVAL TIMES will be pre-discussed and booked with staff at Boatshed One and must be strictly adhered to and may incur a charge if times are changed without 24hrs notice by phone. Departure time is the time the boat leaves the wharf after you have loaded ALL your supplies. You cannot book a departure time, load the boat then go shopping

###**Fuel:**
A fee of $30.00 per motoring hour for houseboats and $60 per tank for runabouts to cover the cost of fuel

###**Wharf rules:**
You cannot motor back to the boatshed at anytime. During your trip you may dock at the Boatshed during business hours in a runabout only. This is why we advise you to bring your own runabout or hire one at the time of your booking. It is the responsibility of the hirer (s) to be aware of the fuel in both vessels and if the tanks are getting low to drive the runabout to the Boatshed for refuelling. A minimum call out fee of $100.00 for customers requiring fuel after hours will be applicable. Your arrival time at the end of your trip must be discussed and pre-arranged before the start of your vacation. All hirer (s) of the houseboats MUST contact the Boatshed at least 1 hour prior to docking at the wharf to unload and disembark from your vacation If your arrival time at the end of your holiday changes

###**Beaching of vessel:**
A: All hirer (s) must take great care when hiring and driving a water vessel. It is the responsibility of the hirer (s) to ALWAYS monitor weather and tidal conditions. If your houseboat becomes beached you will be required to inform the owner immediately. Staff at Boatshed Number 1 will not always be able to physically come to your assistance when the houseboat becomes beached as there is very little to do other than wait for the changing tides and/or weather. This could be in the middle of the night. If the vessel becomes beached the HIRER (S) must monitor and NOT leave the vessel until the tide had shifted and responsibly start the engines and motor to a secure and appropriate position. If the houseboat becomes beached and is put into a position whereby it cannot be removed by the tides, your bond will be kept in full and if a second party is required for extraction an extra fee will be issued. If you end your houseboat trip and the vessel is left beached a minimum fee of $250 from your bond will be incurred
Contact and emergency numbers are located in the houseboat manual and must be used responsibly. These numbers are for use in the appropriate emergency, common sense must be used

- You have full access to Wallis Lake (strictly no access permitted beyond the Forster/Tuncurry bridge) No FIREARMS, DRUGS OR DANGEROUS GOODS allowed on board at any time
- At least 1 person per group must be over the age of 21

###**The Letting:**
The letting is made on the understanding that the boat is placed at the disposal of the hirer on the date booked unless the management is prevented from doing so by mechanical breakdown or unforeseen circumstances. In this case all monies paid will be refunded in full. However, the hirer shall have no claim on any account against the management
