Your 5 hour adventure begins at 6:30 am (6:15 am check-in) – We like to be first at Molokini while the marine life is undisturbed by the loud boats that swarm the crater. Our tour is designed with you in mind. You will be wide awake after some homemade banana bread, coffee and a fast ride to Molokini Crater.
You’ll depart from the Kihei Boat Ramp, a 5-minute drive from most Wailea Resorts and within walking distance of many Kihei condos. This prime location allows shorter transit times to Molokini and the South Maui Coastline, which means you’ll spend less time getting places and more time snorkeling!
What to Bring
We make it super easy for you to get going on your adventure – all you have to do is wear a swimsuit and bring a towel!
We’ll supply:
- Snorkel gear
- Floatation devices
- Sunscreen (reef-safe, of course!)
- Individual storage area for any personal items
For your added comfort you may want to bring:
- Towel
- Camera (we rent GoPro's for additional fee)
- Cash to thank the crew
- Change of clothes if you tend to get cold
- The water is a bit chilly during winter months, bring a wet suit if you get cold easily! (We do offer Wet Suit Tops)
- A wind-breaker jacket if you get cold in the mornings

We revel in the fact that no two days are alike, which is why we built a custom boat to accommodate changing conditions and offer a unique snorkel tour on every trip.
When you join our Molokini snorkel tour, we’ll take you to the spots with the best snorkeling that day. While other tours also go to Molokini, we’re the best option to for a customized group tour, taking you to all of the best spots around South Maui. You’ll get lots of personal attention from us, too, because we don’t overcrowd our boat.
Molokini Crater may be the main attraction, but you’ll see so much more! You’ll visit up to 5 snorkel sites, depending on conditions (the most of any snorkel tour on Maui!).

However, your safety comes first.
Our minimum excursion age is 5 years old and is not intended for pregnant women. Due to the adventurous nature of the ride, please use discretion if you have a back or neck injury or are recovering from a recent surgery.

Booking Notes
Are you ready for the BEST DAY EVER?!
Our 5 hour adventure tour on the No Ka Oi includes stops at Molokini and the South Maui Coastline! The boat is spacious and limited to 20 passengers for a more personal experience. We provide all snorkel gear, prescription masks and swim belts at no charge.
##**Check in 30 minutes prior to departure.**
We board the boat promptly 10 minutes prior to departure. The vessel leaves on time and cannot come back to pick you up if you are late. No refunds or reschedules will be provided for late arrivals.
To expedite check in, please bring all members of your party that are 18 years or older to our check in counter to sign liability waivers.
**Please remember to come in your swimwear with warm cover-up clothes and bring...**
- Towel
- Sunglasses
- Reusable Water Bottle (please help us eliminate the plastic waste on the island)
- Snacks
- Warm Jacket or Windbreaker (you may get chilly between stops)
- Camera

Crew will be in Maui Snorkel Charter shirts waiting in the parking lot by the white truck and boat trailer with the Maui Snorkel Charters banner. We will provide local banana bread, Hawaiian Coffee, water and ginger ale during the charter, please feel free to bring your own snacks or food.
Please fill out waivers prior to your tour. If you are feeling ill please feel free to call and re-schedule.
Also, a friendly reminder that this is the service industry and the crew rely on gratuity. The wind and the waves may rock the boat but only you can TIP the crew! ;-)
##*Important Information
- It is unlawful to bring your own alcoholic beverages aboard our vessels.
- **The use of non reef safe sunscreens is prohibited during our snorkel tours.** Environmentally-friendly "reef safe" sunscreen is provided complimentary for our guests on board our vessels.
- Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Any directions or maps provided by Maui Snorkel Charters are only a rough guide. You are responsible for arriving at the activity’s meeting location on time, so make sure to check with a second source that can provide specific directions from your starting point.
