This is a gentle, slow-moving river and is perfect for the beginner paddler. As you float slowly through the lush New England landscape you will be awed by views of the Green Mountains all around you. Paddle a solo kayak, tandem kayak or canoe.

- We recommend arriving at least 15 - 30 minutes prior to the tour start time.
- Please do not arrive 'fashionably' late as we leave promptly at designated times.
- Park in the grass by our outpost.
- Umiak Staff will walk you through timing on the water and answer any questions you may have about coming back downriver. We will then make our way to the put-in.


## Lamoille Outpost Directions:
From Stowe:

1. Head North on VT Rte 108 North (Mountain Road) over Smuggler's Notch for 17.3 miles to the town of Jeffersonville.
2. VT-108 N (Mountain Road) turns slightly left and becomes Church St/VT Rte 108
3. In 0.3 miles turn right onto Vermont Rte 108
4. At the traffic circle, take the 1st exit onto VT-15 E (0.7mi)
5. Turn left onto Cambridge Junction Road. ( Town Hwy 23)
6. Continue through the Covered Bridge.
7. Directly after you cross the covered bridge, Umiak's tent and vehicle will be waiting for you on your right.
