Course description and schedule: Friday evening we begin at 6pm with classroom instruction. Items covered will be parts of the boat, safe boat operation, and boater safety. Saturday morning, we will meet at Scott's Landing Marina, Lake Grapevine (4 minutes from the class location) where each student will learn how to safely operate the powerboat. Sunday, we return to the class for a 100 question, multiple choice exam, review, and then head back to the lake for the on-the-water proficiency portion of the course. Please bring comfortable shoes (preferable non-skid), hats, sunglasses and sunblock are also encouraged.
Cancellation Policy
Please provide 72 hours notice of cancellation. If cancellation occurs after the 72 hour window, we will be happy to reschedule you for another weekend.
