With ample seating and space, these cabanas are perfect for groups or individuals looking for a comfortable and relaxing environment. Enjoy the serenity of the lagoon while sipping on a refreshing beverage and unwinding in style.
Two sizes available:
PartyBana: Perfect for smaller groups or intimate gatherings, the PartyBana comfortably accommodates up to 8 people. It’s the ideal choice for friends or family looking to enjoy the water in style, with plenty of space to relax and socialize.
PicnicBana: For larger groups, the PicnicBana offers even more space, comfortably fitting up to 12 people. Perfect for a family gathering, birthday party, or a larger social event, this larger cabana gives you more room to lounge, eat, and enjoy the lagoon with friends and family.
- AquaBanas are floating cabanas connected to the dock.
- There is one communal AquaBana for guest with Lagoon Rentals or Paddle Pass activities.
Restrictions
- Lagoon Participants must be at least 4 years old and 30lbs.
- All guests must wear an approved USCG Type II PFD. Guests must always wear an approved USCG certified life jacket while in The Lagoon and on the dock.

🚫 Note: No hats/sunglasses or mobile devices are recommended on the lagoon. Items are not retrievable if dropped in the water. Use at your own risk.
🚫 Note: Please refrain from using one-time decorations. We discourage use of balloons, streamers, confetti, etc.

Food and beverage purchased from an establishment at Wai Kai is allowed on privately rented Aquabanas. Trash must be collected in the provided mesh bag. Refillable water bottles only. (Note: No outside food and beverage. No alcohol or personal coolers. No feeding fish or birds in the lagoon.)

Please be sure to complete your activity waiver linked to your ticket confirmation email prior to arrival for Express Booking Check-In Services.
Check-in at Guest Services located down on the boardwalk level.
#The details of your booking are below. Here are a few reminders prior to arrival:
- Free parking available.
- Don’t forget your swimwear and towel.
- Arrive 30 minutes early for check-in. For assistance with checking in, please visit Guest Services at The Launch inside Sessions Retail Shop.
- All guests must wear an approved USCG Type II PFD. Guests must always wear an approved USCG certified life jacket while in The Lagoon and on the dock.
- Please bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated with our complimentary water refilling stations located by the Boardwalk restrooms and by the Wave Deck restrooms by the surf pool.
- To-go food and beverages can be purchased at The Wave Bar, FOAM, The Lookout and Kitchen Door’s Boardwalk Café.
- No alcohol, outside food & beverages, or personal coolers on the lagoon. Water only.
- All trash must be placed in the provided bag. Dock staff will retrieve bag from Aquabana
- No feeding or harassing wildlife.
- No shoes are allowed on the Aquabanas.
- Kayaks and SUPs can only be used to access the Aquabanas. If assistance is needed to the Aquabana, please notify dock staff.
- No swimming to the Aquabanas from the dock.
- Please use reef-safe sunscreen only. Reef safe sunscreen is available for sale at Sessions Surf Shop.
- Slipper/shoe cubbies and small bag storage are available on the dock. Lockers are available for rent at the Boardwalk to keep valuables safe. Please ask for more details when checking in.
- Outside showers available.
- Upgrade your experience with Nalo Kai Club Access. Nalo Kai Club is an air-conditioned lounge that includes charging stations (must bring own charger), access to beach loungers, TV, lockers and private showers with towels available.

Cancellation Policy
#48 Hours in advance:
For bookings made directly through The LineUp at Wai Kai to be eligible for a refund of the amount paid, less a $5 administrative fee per transaction, you must call 808-515-7873 or visit Launch to confirm your cancellation and/or reschedule no less than 48 hours before the scheduled activity (surf, paddle, lesson, scheduled pick-up time, or other product/service booking). Any bookings cancelled within 48-hours or no-shows will result in a 100% forfeiture of the amount paid.
#24 Hours in advance:
For bookings made directly through The LineUp at Wai Kai to be eligible for re-booking or receive the transaction amount, less a $5 administrative fee per transaction, you must call 808-515-7873 or visit Launch no less than 24 hours before the scheduled activity to confirm your re-booking or gift card request. Any bookings not rebooked within 24 hours or no-shows will result in a 100% forfeiture of the amount paid.
#Third Party Sellers:
For bookings not made directly through The LineUp at Wai Kai, refund inquiries must be sent to the purchasing agent, agency, or site you booked through and must adhere to their rules and restrictions.
#Groups & Programs:
Bookings for Group Events, Na Opio Kai, Wai Kai Surf Academy/Lessons, or other specialty clinics – please refer to the specific cancellation policies and terms identified for those programs.
#Safety & Weather
The safety of our guests is our number one priority and weather conditions are always taken into consideration. The LineUp at Wai Kai reserves the right to cancel any reservation if conditions are deemed unsafe (e.g. high winds or lightning). If so, we will reschedule or provide a refund to for the activity that was cancelled. Rescheduling and gift cards will only be issued if their experience is limited to 2 hours or less and/or less than 50% of the activity time slot. 2 hours or more than 50% off activity time slots will not be eligible for any refund compensation.
