Discover Louisiana’s Bayous And Byways.
This trip is similar to hour popular 2hr Manchac magic Kayak Tour but it allows guests wanting to spend more time on the water to get to further reaches of the swamp. We will have the time to take some of our longer more detailed paddle routes and even get to stop at scenic Lake Maurepas and other scenic swamp locations. After 2-4 hours of paddling we will cap off the trip with a stop at a local eatery for cuisine from the swamp regions. We will then stop at Oak Alley, Whitney, Evergreen, or many other scenic Louisiana plantations.

#Itinerary/Things To Bring

-Shuttle pickup/Drive Out/Bathroom Break

- 2-3hr kayak and canoe swamp tour through the historic Manchac swamp.

-Tour and lunch at Oak Alley Plantation.

- Hat, Sunglasses, Sunscreen, Snacks/Drinks, Raincoat(if raining)

- Guide gratuity is not included. 20% gratuity is considered baseline/standard in the tour guide industry.

- It is a good idea to allot at least 1 hour between the end of our tour and your next scheduled engagement of the day. Tour beginning and ending times can fluctuate due to guests' paddling experience and traffic to and from the city. Fridays and Saturdays are particularly bad traffic days. We do not want you to miss your next scheduled engagement!

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations:

Invoice must be paid in full for tour date to be reserved. Wild Louisiana Tours LLC offers a 100% refund for tour cancellation due to inclement weather e.g. weather considered hazardous to tour members safety. This includes: lighting storms, unsafe water conditions, wild fires, etc. Tours still operate in rain as long as the safety of clients is not jeopardized.

100% refund is issued if cancellation is over 48 hours before tour time.
50% refund is issued if cancellation is less than 48 hours and over 24 hours before tour time.
No refund is issued for no calls/no shows/cancellations 24 hours before start of the tour
