What to Tip?
Well, if you ask the crew, they’ll say “tip till it hurts”. Lol……just kidding. The
Charter Fishing is just like the regular service industry, of 15% to 20%. This crew works really hard at baiting your hooks, netting your fish, asking if you want pictures before they clean your fish and taking care of you. An appropriate tip is, each fisherman to tip $20 to $25+ per crewmember.
- Fishing Licenses- Please purchase in advance! You can do so locally at the Sport Shed in Homer or online at http://www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=license.main
- King Salmon Stamps- NOT REQUIRED UNLESS YOU HAVE A KING SALMON TRIP BOOKED, but if you wish to have one handy, you are welcome to pick one up. You CANNOT keep a King Salmon without this stamp on hand with proper valid dates of use. Best time for Kings is May and end of August!

**Harvest cards are REQUIRED for all children 16 and under, as well as residents who utilize a permanent card as their fishing license. This is required for you to record required harvest of certain species such as Halibut and King Salmon**

MEET TIME: 30 MINUTES PRIOR
DEPARTURE TIME: TBD ON THE TIDE
Ramp Location- Meet at Ninilchik Office - 15750 Kingsley Road
**If you are running late- please call the captain at the number provided to you upon booking and in your day-before confirmation text/email. If you are not present 30 minutes before your trip, you risk the boat leaving and you will not be refunded, due to accommodating other passengers who were on time.**

Cancellation Policy
A minimum of a 50% non-refundable deposit+initial booking fee PER PERSON is REQUIRED TO BOOK! Trips are to be paid in full 60 days prior to your trip.
*Refunds Permitted*
A refund will be issued if you cancel 60 days prior to your trip with us for payments made towards your trip. Reminder- Deposits/ initial booking fees are NON-Refundable unless the trip is canceled due to weather or mechanical issues.
**Trip Insurance Recommended**
Unlike most traditional businesses, we only have 4 months to operate for our fishing season. Because of this, we HIGHLY recommend purchasing **TRIP INSURANCE** (i.e AAA) for your vacation! This will help to protect you in the event you have to cancel closer to your date due to unexpected reasons.
**Weather/ Mechanical Issues**
Trips will be 100% refunded (including deposit + initial booking fee) in the event weather or mechanical issues prevent the trip from going, **IF** the trip cannot be rescheduled.
