- PLEASE ARRIVE 15-20 MINUTES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE FOR BOARDING
- YOU MAY BYOB AND SNACKS BUT KEEP IT SIMPLE AS TABLE SEATING IS LIMITED
- YOU DO NOT NEED TO PRINT YOUR CONFIRMATION-THE CREW WILL CHECK YOU IN BY NAME AT THE VESSEL
- PLEASE BRING CASH GRATUITY FOR OUR CREW (normally at least 20%)
- THERE ARE RESTROOMS ONBOARD
- YOU MAY NEED A JACKET AS IT IS OFTEN COOLER ON THE WATER
- IF BAY CONDITIONS ARE UNFAVORABLE WE WILL REMAIN IN THE SHELTERED WATERS OF THE CANAL OR RIVER
##PARKING
Free parking is available in Cape Water Tours' parking lot. Proceed to the end of Anglers Road, past Irish Eyes restaurant and into the marina. Turn left after the billboard pictured below. Park in front of our orange "Ship Shop" (gift shop). Our crew will check you in at the vessel. Come a few minutes early and check out our merchandise at the Ship Shop.
##TOUR DESCRIPTION##
**Sunset Cruise on the Broadkill River AND Delaware Bay**
We'll begin our evening sailing north up the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal into the peaceful Broadkill River, where you'll enjoy memorable views of scenic shorelines, The Great Marsh, and a variety of waterfowl in their natural habitat. As the sun begins to set, we'll venture into the Delaware Bay, offering stunning vistas of the East End Lighthouse, Cape Henlopen Point, the Cape May–Lewes Ferry, Lewes Beach, and Cape Henlopen State Park. With a bit of luck, you might even spot dolphins!
We’ll return to our dock on Anglers Road at last light.
In the event of unfavorable wind or wave conditions on the bay, we’ll remain in the calm, protected waters of the Broadkill River.
Feel free to bring your own beverages and snacks (BYOB).
