## How to Prepare and What to Bring
Thank you for booking your Bioluminescence Tour with [South Island SUP](http://www.southislandsup.com).
Below is some useful information to support you in preparing for and enjoying your experience on the water with us:
- Wear clothing suitable for the weather conditions and water activity (layers and/or a jacket are a good idea; avoid cotton, as it absorbs and retains water like a sponge keeping you wet and cold)
- Water/reef shoes are great for walking down to the beach with your board and can be worn while paddling, although paddling barefoot during the warm season is the norm
- Bring a towel, change of clothes (just in case and if you plan to "dip" in the water) (can be kept on shore)
- Use a strap for your prescription glasses or sunglasses (we have straps available for rent or purchase)
- Leave your electronic keys, phone, etc. on shore or place in a dry bag (rental dry bags are available for an additional fee)
- Water
We'll provide waterproof flashlights.
