**The Experience**
This is not a classroom-only course — it’s real training on the water.
Starting early on the Broadwater, you’ll step straight into practical, on-water training in calm, protected conditions. From the first session, you’ll be operating vessels, building control, awareness, and confidence.
Throughout the day, you’ll move between theory, guided practice, and practical assessments — building confidence step by step, without pressure.
Operating in small groups, you’ll have time at the controls, learning how to handle a vessel, understand your surroundings, and make safe decisions on the water.
After your practical session, the course continues at Gold Coast Dive Centre in Miami, where you’ll complete your theory revision, final exam, and certification paperwork.
This is where knowledge meets real experience.

#Online Training – Complete Before Your Practical Day
Each participant must complete their **own individual OLS registration.**

#How to Register
**1.** Open the OLS registration page:

**2.** Select both courses:
- Boat Licence Online Training Course **(RMDL)**
- Jet Ski Licence Online Training Course **(PWC)**
Both courses must be selected as you are completing the combined Boat & Jet Ski Licence training.
**3.** Complete the registration using the participant’s own details and create their OLS login.
**4.** The full course price may initially appear on the screen. Continue to **CHECKOUT & PAY.**
**5.** At checkout, enter the **individual code provided above** in the discount/code field and apply it.
Please make sure the discount has been applied **before completing the checkout.**
6. Once registered, log in and complete **both the Boat (RMDL) and Jet Ski (PWC) online training components** before your practical day.
You can stop and return to the online training as needed.

#Important – Bring Your Printed Certificates
Once you have completed the online training, please print and bring your **Certificate of Completion for both courses:**
Boat (RMDL)
Jet Ski (PWC)
If you arrive without the printed certificates, a **$30 administration fee** will apply for our team to access your profile, verify your records and print the required documents.
Not having your certificates ready may also delay your training and assessment.

#Practical Day
Your practical on-water training will be completed at Muriel Henchman North Boat Ramp.
**Meeting time:** as per your booking confirmation email
**Location:** Muriel Henchman North Boat Ramp, Seaworld Dr, Main Beach QLD 4217
Near Sea World, at the Muriel Henchman North Boat Ramp car park.

**Parking** is available at Muriel Henchman Park. Please check the parking signs on arrival for any applicable conditions.
Please arrive on time. The day begins with a **mandatory safety briefing.** Late arrivals may not be able to join the training and may need to rebook at an additional cost.
After the practical session, you will need to make your own way to our **Miami campus**, 54 Paradise Avenue to complete the written assessment and remaining paperwork.
Please arrange your own transport between the two locations. If this is difficult, please let us know in advance — we may be able to assist with a lift, subject to space and the trainer’s schedule.
Once you have successfully completed all requirements, you will receive your BoatSafe Statement of Competency, which you can use to apply for your Boat and PWC licences through Queensland Transport and Main Roads.
