Thank you for booking your Choptank River cruise with River City Cruise Co. We look forward to having you on board! Please review the following important details to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Boarding Location
10282 River Landing Rd
Denton, MD
Guests cannot board any earlier than 10 minutes prior to their scheduled cruise time. Please avoid arriving more than 15 minutes early, as we are unable to accommodate early arrivals.
What to Bring and Expect
We recommend bringing sunscreen and water. No outside food or beverages are allowed unless you have selected the Bring Your Own Food add-on or prior permission has been granted in special circumstances.
Temperatures on the water are typically 10 to 15 degrees cooler than on land, so please plan accordingly.
The boat is shaded and includes a bathroom for emergencies. Portable restrooms are also available on site before and after your cruise.
Dietary Restrictions
Guests with dietary restrictions or allergies should notify us in advance, even if not planning to eat on board. This allows us to prepare any complimentary snacks for public tours and prevent cross contamination between cruises.
Parking Information
Parking is available in the small lot next to our office. Signs, cones, and staff will be present to assist you.
PLEASE do not park at the Caroline County Yacht Club parking lot.
Accessibility
Accommodations for wheelchairs or other mobility devices are available upon request. Accessible boarding sometimes takes place at the neighboring Yacht Club dock located at 10287 River Landing Rd. depending on the type of mobility device used, tide, etc. We will let you know if we will be changing to this boarding location (but don't worry, it's right next door!)
Policies
Unfinished food and beverages may not be taken off the vessel at the end of the cruise.
Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited.
Cancellations and Weather Policy
Cancellations made by the customer at least one week in advance will receive a full refund. Changes to your party's headcount will be accepted up to one week prior to your cruise. After this, the customer is responsible for paying the full last submitted headcount and any applicable add-ons, including meal cost.
Cancellations made by the customer less than one week in advance will receive a 50 percent refund.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the cruise will not receive a refund.
Weather-related cancellations are determined at the discretion of the captain. If necessary, the decision will be made at 7 p.m. the evening before your cruise. Please look out for contact from us at this time. If your cruise is cancelled due to weather, you may choose between a full refund or rescheduling.

Full refund if canceled at least 24 hours in advance
No refund for no shows
Weather related cancellations are determined at the discretion of the Captain. Decisions will be made at 7 pm the evening before your cruise.
River City Cruise Co. cannot operate in rain, storms, poor air quality, or winds exceeding 15 mph.
If your cruise is canceled due to weather, you will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
You will be notified by email, text, or phone call. If you do not hear from us, your cruise is confirmed to proceed as scheduled.
