Cabana & Pergola Policies
1. Your reservation is from 9am-6pm. All guests need to be out of the cabanas by 6pm.
2. Sides of the cabanas may be closed by asking one of the beach boys. Only THREE (3) sides of the cabana can be closed at any time.
3. Absolutely NO changing or undressing is allowed in the cabanas at ANY time.
4. NO speakers or boomboxes allowed as we provide music via DJs on weekends and holidays.
REFUND POLICY:
Management reserves the right to close the beach due to inclement weather and if there is lightning and thunder it’s mandatory that the beach closes and everyone has to leave the beach area for at least 30 minutes after each bolt of lightning!
Refunds will only be offered if the beach is closed for the FULL day.
The person who completed the reservation will have the option to get a refund or reschedule for another day that is available. This refund policy will be strictly enforced, and management reserves the right to refund. If the beach closes early after 12pm (noon) due to the weather, there are NO refunds offered for any rentals.
Please note the regular cancellation/refund policy is a strict 24 hours in advance for cancellation on your reservation.
If not canceled or rescheduled BEFORE the cancelation/refund window closes (24 hours before booking), there will be NO refunds or rescheduling of reservations.
Also, if you do not show or call management (732-859-6989) by 12pm (noon) on the day of your cabana or daily rental reservation, it will be considered canceled, and your cabana or rental may not be available unless you have made special arrangements.
PLEASE NOTE: If a refund is issued, they are done through your method of payment. Please allow up to 5-7 days to receive your refund.
Rental Policies and FAQ's
Below are the Funtown Beach Cabana Rental Policies and answers to the most commonly asked questions regarding our Cabana Rentals. Please take a moment to read and understand the following before purchasing your cabana rental.
All cabana reservations MUST be reserved online and paid in full at the time of your rental.
Cabana rentals can be rented the day of, in person, based on availability. Upon arrival at the beach, please ask the beach concierge to assist you with information on cabana availability for walk up rentals.
Weekend rentals are EXTREMELY limited unless booked ahead of time. Advanced booking is highly suggested.
Beach admission is NOT included with cabana rentals. Admission onto the beach is a separate charge.
No smoking of any kind (cigarettes, e-cigs, weed, hookahs, etc) allowed on the beach at ANY time.
No KEGS are allowed on the beach.
Cabana reservations are final.
We ONLY offer refunds or rescheduling for inclement weather which results in the beach closing for the FULL DAY. Please note that our beach may stay open in the rain if conditions permit (no lightning or severe weather in the immediate area).
If the beach is open and operating, refunds and/or rescheduling will not be offered.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we strive to provide the best possible experience for our customers. If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking, please do so at least 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund or to reschedule at no cost. Unfortunately, cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of your booking cannot be accommodated, and refunds will not be available. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to serving you!
NOTE: The management reserves the right to close the beach due to inclement weather. In the event of lightning and thunder, it is mandatory to close the beach, and all individuals must vacate the beach area for at least 30 minutes following each lightning strike.
