We are passionate about marine-life and eco-tourism and hope that our guests are inspired to make a commitment to protect our oceans and marine-life too. We ask that you do not touch coral, fish, or turtles and please, never feed the fish anything a human would eat. Help our reefs and oceans by using sustainable practices such as reef safe sunscreen, reusable water bottles, and reusable cups.
Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee the amount or type of fish you will see on our tours. We do not feed the fish to bring them close to visitors. This is harmful to the fish’s natural diet and it interferes with their natural feeding cycles.

Please review the information below before pickup so we can make your rental quick and easy.
📍 Pickup & Check-In
Please arrive at your scheduled pickup time at Cabezas de San Juan – Ensenada Yegua in Fajardo.
Please allow enough time to park and walk to the rental location.
Have your booking confirmation and a valid photo ID ready.

Late pickup does not extend the rental period.
🪑 Your Rental Includes
Your reservation includes the beach chairs and/or umbrellas selected at booking.
Our team will review the rented items with you and provide basic instructions for safe handling and umbrella use before you leave the pickup area.
This is an equipment rental only. Delivery, beach setup, and attendant service are not included.
⏰ Equipment Return
All rented chairs and umbrellas must be returned by the designated return time shown in your reservation.
Guests are responsible for the equipment while it is in their possession.
Please return all rented items in the condition in which they were issued, excluding normal wear from appropriate use.
🌬️ Umbrella Safety
Beach umbrellas should not be opened or used when wind conditions make setup unsafe.
Please secure umbrellas properly and follow any instructions provided by our team. Pirate Snorkeling Shack may restrict umbrella use when wind or weather conditions create a safety concern.

There are no lockers available, so we recommend bringing only essential personal belongings.

If you added snorkeling equipment to your booking, your set includes:
• Mask
• Snorkel

• Flotation vest
All snorkeling rental equipment must be returned with your beach equipment by the applicable return time.
📷 Added an Action Camera?
If you added an action camera rental, please return the camera and all issued accessories by the designated return time.
If you purchased a New Snorkel to Keep, that snorkel is yours to take home and does not need to be returned.

Beach equipment rentals are subject to weather, wind, and safe operating conditions.
Pirate Snorkeling Shack may limit or suspend rentals when conditions are considered unsafe.
Please do not assume your rental is canceled based on a weather forecast unless we contact you directly.

Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before your scheduled rental for a full refund.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup time, as well as late arrivals and no-shows, are non-refundable.
Requests to reschedule must be made at least 48 hours in advance and are subject to availability and any applicable change fees.
Beach chair and umbrella rentals are subject to safe weather, wind, and operating conditions. If Pirate Snorkeling Shack determines that conditions are unsafe for rental use, you will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a refund in accordance with our weather policy.
Changes in wind, beach conditions, available setup areas, shade, or other environmental conditions are not considered operator cancellations and do not qualify for a refund.
Late pickup does not extend the rental period. All rented chairs and umbrellas must be returned by the designated return time shown in your reservation.
Please do not assume your rental is canceled based on rain, wind, clouds, or a weather forecast unless Pirate Snorkeling Shack contacts you directly.
