Charleston Outdoor Adventures is excited to partner with Charleston Oyster Farm to offer an in-depth tour of Charleston's first and oldest oyster farm. Board a Charleston Outdoor Adventures vessel and enjoy marsh views as you travel through tidal creeks to the oyster farm. While on the boat, you have the opportunity to view local wildlife like the Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin, local and migratory birds, turtles and more! Once at Charleston Oyster Farm, sample & savor fresh oysters and get a unique perspective from a leading seafood harvester in Charleston. You will receive a behind the scenes look into oyster growth, and farmed versus wild oyster practices, all while immersed in the beauty of the lowcountry.

**Liability waiver**
Every individual in the group must complete an
[electronic liability wavier](https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/v/coawaiver/)
prior to arrival. This can be forwarded via text or email to others in the group. Adults must complete one on behalf of each minor.
**Directions**
We are located between James Island and Folly Beach. From Folly Road (SC-171) turn onto Bowens Island Rd (about 1.5 miles before Folly Beach) There will be a large sign for Bowens Island Restaurant at the turn. The paved road will become gravel. Follow this road to the end where you will find Bowens Island Restaurant, a parking lot on the right, and our office along the boat landing.
Please plan and dress accordingly to ensure comfort and safety. Look ahead at weather forecasts and bring plenty of water with you. Especially on the weekends, we also recommend checking the GPS to make sure you account for traffic in your travel time.

**Pet policy**
No dogs/pets are allowed on guided group tours. Please notify us if you will be bringing a service dog or would like to book a private tour.

**Transportation**
Uber & Lyft are the most common methods of transportation for those who do not have a vehicle. We do not provide transportation.
We are next door to \Bowens Island Restaurant https://bowensisland.com/ which is now serving lunch & dinner 12:00pm to 9:00pm, Tuesday through Saturday. Plan to enjoy a nice seafood meal with a view before or after your outing.
