#Tips
- **Waivers MUST be signed by 5pm the evening before the morning charter. Guests will use their personal devices to complete waivers.**
- **Be on time.**
- **If you have not previously dove with us, you must be able to present your dive card prior to boarding the vessel - physical or ecard. It is *your* responsibility to show proof of certification. If you do not have your certification card and cannot provide proof of being certified we will not take you diving and no refund will be issued.**
- **If it has been more than 2 years since your last dive, we require you to take a refresher course.
If it has been more than 10 years, we require you to complete a PADI ReActivate or take the open water course again. This is for YOUR safety! Falsifying this information can lead to serious injury or death.**
- **Wear sun-protective clothing instead of sunscreen. Only Reef Safe Sunscreens are permitted aboard our vessels. As lovers of the ocean kindly be stewards of the ocean. If we see you using toxic sunscreen you will be asked to put it away.**
- **Bring a reusable water bottle**
- **We reserve the right to refuse service, with no refund, if you have booked and have ignored our expected safety standards outlined on our website and during the reservation process.**
- **We reserve the right to refuse service if we feel it is unsafe for you to participate in this activity for any reason.**
- **We reserve the right to cancel your dives if you are not respectful of the safety guidelines, the reef, and wildlife.**
- **The island is short on rental cars - be sure you've reserved yours! Turo is an excellent option. We do not provide transportation**
- **The island is very busy and patience is needed everywhere. Do your best to extend aloha and it will be extended right back.**
Diving & Altitude:
The following guidelines are the consensus of attendees at the 2002 Flying After Diving Workshop. They apply to air dives followed by flights at cabin altitudes of 2,000 to 8,000 feet (610 to 2,438 meters) for divers who do not have symptoms of decompression sickness (DCS). The recommended preflight surface intervals do not guarantee avoidance of DCS. Longer surface intervals will reduce DCS risk further.
For a single no-decompression dive, a minimum preflight surface interval of 12 hours is suggested.
For multiple dives per day or multiple days of diving, a minimum preflight surface interval of 18 hours is suggested.
*Keep in mind that many of the roads around the island exceed 2,000ft. It is the diver's responsibility to know the altitude of their accommodations and the routes to get there.
**We highly recommend each diver carry dive insurance.**
