Town of Islip Great River Ramp - use 383 Great River Rd. with your GPS (house next door to this location) - Latitude 40.723313 / Longitude -73.149925 - Southern State Parkway (changes to Heckscher State Pkwy.) East to exit 46 (Timber Point Rd.) - Bear to your right towards Great River. Stay on Timber Point Rd. and bear left to River Rd. Take River Rd. until the end of the road and make left on Great River Rd. Entrance to Town of Islip Great River Ramp parking area will be about 300’ on your right at Old Dock Rd. Look for our white JK Kayak & SUP van with trailer of kayaks. Please park on left side on grass and back up or go forward to fence so you don’t stick out on blacktop. Do not park parallel to fence or you will take up spots for others. Parking is free as a guest of JK Kayak & SUP.

Please wear shoes that can get wet.
Please arrive at least 45 minutes before your scheduled trip. Late arrivals of 30 mins. or less may forfeit their trip and full payment will be charged to credit card on file.
Supplied PFD's (personal floatation device) must be worn and secure at all times.
You must be able to float or swim to participate in any of our activities!
The use of alcoholic beverages on trips is prohibited.
NO SMOKING on any of our trips! This includes vape devices!
NO PETS of any kind on any of our trips.
All participants must remain in kayaks at all times.

Reservation date change or cancellation with refund policy:

E-mail us at info@jkkayak.com with your request. You must receive a confirmation e-mail from us for any change to be valid. Policy is based on the date and time of your scheduled trip. Taxes and fees will be added to the charges below.
Change reservation to another date of the same season: 48 hrs. or more (no charge) / 24-48 hrs.($25/person) / 24 hrs. or less ($35/person).

Refund or no show: 72 hrs. or more (no charge) / 48-72 hrs. ($25/person) / 24-48 hrs. ($35/person) / 24 hrs. or less or no show on trip day (Full Charge).
Guests will not be charged for weather cancellations made by JK Kayak & SUP.

WEATHER CANCELLATIONS: IF IN DOUBT, PLEASE CHECK OUR NEWS & DEALS PAGE THE MORNING OF YOUR TRIP FOR ALL CANCELLATIONS. IF THERE IS NO POSTING, THE TRIP IS ON AND WE ARE EXPECTING YOU. IF WEATHER MOVES IN UNEXPECTEDLY, SOME TRIPS MAY BE CANCELLED AT SITE AND NOT POSTED ON "NEWS" PAGE. NO SHOWS WILL BE CHARGED FULL BALANCE DUE FOR TRIP FROM CREDIT CARD ON FILE.
