# Custom Tours & Activities
By making a reservation with us, you and each participant freely and voluntarily accept the following terms and conditions.

## Location
We are located in the **Cabezas de San Juan Natural Reserve, Ensenada Yegua, Fajardo, Puerto Rico**. Please note that, as a nature reserve, there are **no bathing facilities or parking spots nearby**. [Pirate Snorkeling Shack Location](https://maps.app.goo.gl/uux3VSiSudKBihyr8)
We recommend parking at **Seven Seas Beach Park** and walking approximately **8 minutes** to our location. Parking costs $5 per car, payable to the Municipality of Fajardo. [Seven Seas Parking Spot](https://maps.app.goo.gl/2gZ6aQjkLQ5xyL278)
If you have questions, call us at **787-556-0104**. Please leave home early, as traffic can be heavy during holidays and weekends.
**Important:** Please **arrive on time**. During check-in, you will complete the **Leasing Contract** and **General Waiver** and review safety measures. If guests do not arrive on time, it will be considered a **no-show**, and **no refund** will be issued.

## Itinerary
### Before Arriving
* You will receive an email containing the **Leasing Contract** and **General Waiver**. Ensure each participant (adults and minors) has completed these forms. Complete them here: [Liability Waiver](https://web.wherewolf.co.nz/f6upjj)
* **Valid ID is required**. The same ID used for the waiver must be presented at check-in.
* Call **787-556-0104** the day before your trip for the latest water conditions. Transportation and parking are not included.
### On the Day of the Experience
* **Check-In:** Arrive on time. Leave personal items in a safe place. Pirate Snorkeling Shack is **not responsible** for lost or damaged items. Bring only sunscreen, a water canteen, a towel, and any necessary medications. Guests are responsible for informing staff and companions about medical conditions.
* **Experience Start:** Once check-in is complete, your adventure begins!
**Important:** Depending on maritime conditions and guests’ experience, the guide may adjust the itinerary.

## Important Information
* Participants **17 and under** must be accompanied by an adult.
* We do **not recommend** participation for pregnant women or guests with back, neck, wrist, arm, leg issues, epilepsy, heart conditions, or dizziness.
* **Weight limit for kayaks:** 600 lbs
* Guests are responsible for sharing health conditions with their group. Over-the-counter remedies for dizziness can be taken at least 1 hour before the trip with food.

## Disinfection Protocols
* **Snorkeling Gear:** Remove salt and sand, soak masks and snorkels in ½ cup Clorox per gallon of water for 15 minutes, then soak in soapy water for 15 minutes. Rinse and dry. Fins are soaked in soapy water for 15 minutes, then rinsed and dried.
* **Paddles, life vests, kayaks, rafts, chairs, and other equipment:** Remove salt and sand, then spray with Odoban solution.

## Commitment to Sustainability
Pirate Snorkeling Shack is dedicated to protecting the **Cabezas de San Juan Nature Reserve** and its marine life. We educate guests about the importance of conservation and encourage **sustainable practices** like reef-safe sunscreen and reusable water bottles.
**Coral Reef Protection:**
The coral reefs are affected by **SCTLD (Stony Coral Tissue Loss Disease)**, which has impacted 22 hard coral species. Pirate Snorkeling Shack collaborates with the Department of Natural and Environmental Resources to apply **amoxicillin treatment** to affected corals.
**Please:**
* Do not touch coral, fish, turtles, or other marine animals.
* Do not feed fish human food.
* Use sustainable practices and take your trash with you.

# Cancellation Policy
Thanks for choosing **Pirate Snorkeling Shack**!
* **Cancel 48+ hours before your tour or rental:** Full refund.
* **Cancel less than 48 hours:** No refund. Reservations made within 48 hours of the activity, as well as no-shows, are considered final and are non-refundable.
* **Weather cancelation by us:** Free reschedule or full refund.
**Need to change your reservation?** Call **787-556-0104** at least 48 hours in advance. Small rescheduling fee may apply (\$15 per person, \$10 per rental).
**Arrive on time!** Late arrivals (10+ minutes) = no-show, no refund.
