Your journey begins with a scenic shuttle to Jones Landing, where you’ll enjoy a picturesque walk to Arapuni Dam, taking in the striking pink ignimbrite bluffs along the way. From there, hop on your bike for a relaxed ride along quiet, mostly flat trails through beautiful countryside as you make your way back to base (or finish at Little Waipa).

After a well-earned break, head out on the water for a peaceful kayak paddle along the Pokaiwhenua Stream. Surrounded by native bush and calm waters, it’s the perfect way to unwind and soak in the natural beauty of the region.

This self-paced adventure is ideal for a wide range of fitness levels and offers a fun, flexible way to explore the Waikato by land and water, all in one day.
