About
Destrehan Plantation is an antebellum mansion in the French colonial style modified with the Greek revival architecture elements, it is located in Southeast Louisiana near the town of the same name Destrehan. During the 19th century, the Plantation was a major producer of indigo and then sugar cane. Established in 1787 and listed on the National Registry of historic places Destrehan plantation remains the oldest documented Plantation home in the lower Mississippi Valley. All prices include transportation and admission to the grounds.
