About
The Discover Freediving experience is a program that introduces participants to freediving activities in a confined water setting and under the guidance and supervision of professionals. It is designed as a highly flexible program that offers an informative, enjoyable, controlled experience centered on modern freediving techniques.
Will will start with a certified instructor that will review freediving concepts with ea. person in the group. Next we will learn proper breathing and breathhold techniques as well as introductory free dive disciplines plus proper buddy procedures. Finally, we will learn how to make a proper water entry.
Most students, after completing the Discover Freediving course, have built confidence to take on the added challenge of open water diving. Discover Freediving students can seamlessly upgrade to the [PADI Freediver Certification](https://cdn.filestackcontent.com/0ai8WXGHTb67ay8VeTKK) at a later date.

Important Info.
- **You must be 10 years old or older.**
- You need adequate swimming skills
- Need to be in good physical health

- No prior experience with snorkeling, skin diving, or freediving is required.
- Location for your course will be determined by your instructor closer to your activity date and based on weather and tide conditions.

###Meeting Location:
We will meet adjcent to the Blue Heron Bridge, *near the playground with the blue awning* (southwest of Phil Foster Park entrance). Your instructor/s will be wearing Live Free Diving long sleeve gray, black or white UPF hooded shirts.
- Please check in & meet your guide/instructor at Phil Foster Park **10 mins. before your start time** near the playground. *(Unless otherwise noted by your instructor)*

Cancellation Policy

- Full payment is required in order to secure your spot and is non-refundable
- Customers will receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances
- Trips are not cancelled due to rain
- No shows will be charged the full price of the booked trip/course. No refunds will be given due to the potential loss of business/expenses incurred.
- Private sessions: cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to the scheduled date to allow us to book other clients. You will receive a gift card that won't expire and can reschedule during availability.
We are a team of two who specialize in small intimate group settings, in order to keep our business sustainable and activities enjoyable we must adhere to a stern cancellation policy. Thank you for understanding.
