With PADI Discover Scuba Diving, you can take your first breaths underwater and experience the thrill of scuba diving. The PADI professional and experienced team at Rincon Diving & Snorkeling will guide you through your first dive and ensure your safety at all times. You'll learn the basics of scuba diving and get comfortable with the gear before taking the plunge and diving into the crystal-clear waters of Rincon. Discover the thrill of swimming alongside colorful fish, spotting hidden sea creatures, and exploring a world that few people ever get to see. So, what are you waiting for? Try scuba diving for the first time and create memories that will last a lifetime!
**No diving experience necessary. Must have a basic swimming ability.**
**NO MINIMUM** number of participants required to book. Maximum of 4 participants per instructor. If the number of participants in your group exceeds the quantity available to book online, Call the Dive Center for personalized attention.

The Discover Scuba Diving experience is a great way to get a head start on your PADI Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver certification. That's because the skills you complete during this adventure, such as mask clearing, regulator recovery and sharing air, may credit these certification levels, so you can continue where you left off. Be sure to ask you instructor for more information.

Presence of Health conditions listed on the Medical Statement will prevent participation without a doctor's consent. Call the dive center if you have any concerns.
As part of the training, you will learn that you need to allow 18 hours to pass before flying after diving!
WHATS INCLUDED:
All diving & snorkeling equipment. Wear your swimsuit. You might also want to rent a wetsuit for comfort and warmth.
Our experienced guides will help you select the right equipment for your needs and ensure that it fits properly and is comfortable to wear. With our top-of-the-line gear and expert guidance, you can relax and enjoy the underwater world with confidence and peace of mind.
Expert Safety Briefings and instruction.
The best part is you don’t have to be an expert to enjoy this experience.. All our staff are professional PADI Instructors who will take the time to teach you safely.

Transportation to/from dive center to tour entry point (5 min drive away). Too far to walk but only a 5-minute drive to entry point on beach. GUIDES ARE NOT PERMITTED TO CARRY PASSENGERS.

## ✅ Before You Arrive
**Waiver & health form:** All guests must complete an information [WAIVER/HEALTH FORM](https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/w/5c5ec554bbb21/web/) before arrival. All guests must complete the Information Waiver and Health Form before arrival. If you answer YES to certain medical questions, you may be required to obtain physician approval before participating in the dive program.
Guests who require medical approval but do not have it at check-in may not be able to participate.
We strongly recommend completing the form as soon as possible. This allows us to review any medical concerns in advance and, if needed, provide the required physician clearance form before your tour date. **Waiting until check-in may result in delays or prevent participation in the program.**
**If you answer “yes” to any question on the health form, please call or text us before submitting.**
**Guests under 18:** A parent or guardian must also sign on their behalf.

If you are not wearing a wetsuit, we recommend a t-shirt or rashguard to help prevent sunburn and equipment abrasion. As a thank you for booking with us, these are available at a discounted rate. Just ask at check-in.
If you have your own snorkel or dive gear and prefer the fit, feel free to bring it.

If you have any special needs or requests, please contact us in advance so we can help make your experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Before arrival, please **drink plenty of water** and **apply reef-safe sunscreen**. Look for sunscreens labeled **reef-safe** or **non-nano**, ideally with mineral ingredients like zinc oxide.
# ARRIVAL POLICY:
Check-in is the time stated on your reservation on the day of the Tour at Rincon Diving & Snorkeling, Rd 115, Km 12.0, Rincon Puerto Rico.
Anticipate slower traffic and longer driving times. If you need directions, please call us and let us know where you are coming from and we are happy to help you, Please let us know as soon as possible if you are delayed in anyway.
After Check-in, equipment fitting and briefing, participants will carpool or caravan to the entry. Depending on the size of your group, the guide may or may not be able to accommodate transportation from Dive Center to entry. All activities start and end on the beach--NO BOAT IS REQUIRED for a great experience.
# CANCELLATION POLICY:
Because our groups are always small to exclusive, it is important to let us know of any changes in your reservation.
**Why do we have this policy?**
This policy reimburses Guides/Instructors for blocking off their schedule for you. When you book, they do not accept other work during that time. If we had no cancellation fee, they would lose the income during that period.
All cancellations should be done **48 hours prior** to the day of Tour to be exempted from the cancellation charges of 50% of the total tour cost.
There are no penalties or fees for canceling your Tour outside of the 48 hour window.
**CANCELLATION FOR LAST MINUTE BOOKING**: Bookings made less than 24 hours of the tour date are considered FINAL and will incur cancellation charges of 50% of the total tour cost.
All **NO-SHOWS** will be charged the full tour price for the group.
Cancellations made after 5:00 p.m the day prior to the tour will be be considered a NO-Show and incur the full tour price. This includes "reduction in group size" cancellations.
Cancellations need to be made directly by calling the dive center at 787-506-3483 .

- No prior diving experience is required, but you must feel comfortable in the water.
- Avoid alcohol or recreational drugs for at least 12 hours before your dive.
- Stay hydrated and eat a light meal beforehand.
#🎓 Briefing & Training
- All participants will receive a full safety briefing and training from a certified dive instructor before entering the water.
- Practice basic skills in shallow water before progressing to deeper areas.
#🌊 In-Water Safety
- Follow all instructions from your dive instructor at all times.
- Never hold your breath while underwater; always breathe slowly and continuously.
- Stay close to your instructor and within the designated diving area.
- Equalize your ears frequently during descent to avoid discomfort.
- Signal to your instructor immediately if you feel unwell or need assistance.
