Not a certified diver? No problem!
Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try SCUBA diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you.
While not a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. To sign up for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 10 years old. No prior experience with SCUBA diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health.
You will learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional. Before you make an open water dive at depth, you'll practice a few more skills to prepare for your adventure. Get ready to:
- Go over the SCUBA equipment you use to dive and how easy it is to move around underwater with your gear.
- Find out what it's like to breathe underwater.
- Learn key skills that you'll use during every SCUBA dive.
- Have fun swimming around and exploring.
- Hear about becoming a certified diver through the PADI Open Water Diver Course.
Join us aboard our private vessel, the "Diamond T2," as we conduct daily SCUBA diving charters to explore the underwater world surrounding Honolulu! We lead dive tours in small groups of 4 divers or fewer, so you can dive with confidence and make a few new friends while you're at it!
**Please arrive on time for our 15 minute orientation.**

Thank you for booking with **Aloha Scuba Diving Company**. We are very excited to guide you on your first diving adventure right here in Hawaii. You are now confirmed to participate in the PADI Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) experience with Aloha Scuba Diving Company.
* **Check-in deadline:** For morning departures, you must arrive no later than **8:30 AM**. For afternoon departures, please arrive no later than **1:30 PM**. Arriving after these times may result in the need to reschedule your dive

## This is what you need to be prepared (Important!)
**DSD online training must be completed before arriving at the boat. If DSD online training is not complete you will have to reschedule your charter. If you can't reschedule your charter there will be no refund.**
###Step 1
Please register and complete the PADI Discover Scuba Diving eLearning program within 14 days of your schedule program. Each individual in your party participating will need to register with PADI using a unique email address. The DSD eLearning takes about 30 minutes and is ***required to be completed prior to arriving for your scheduled program.***
To begin, please use the links below, create your profile with PADI and follow the instructions provided **(One Profile Per Participant)**. There are two links below – one for mobile/tablet users and one for desktop/laptop users. Please note, if you use the mobile/tablet link, it will require that you download the PADI App. This is where you will access and complete the DSD eLearning, medical waiver and liability waiver on a mobile device or tablet.

###Step 2
The DSD eLearning Link will prompt you to complete the Medical and Liability Release waivers required to participate in the PADI DSD program. Please answer the medical questionnaire and ***if required, please seek physician’s approval prior to arriving for your DSD*** program. If you have minors participating in the program, please ensure a parent or guardian also signs the medical and liability waivers. If you have questions regarding the medical release or liability waivers, please contact Aloha Scuba Diving Company immediately.
###Step 3
Upon successful completion of the DSD eLearning, the medical form and liability release, you’re ready to experience the underwater world with Aloha Scuba Diving Company. Please make sure you ***bring the following*** on the day of your DSD program as ***we do not provide these***.
• Bathing Suit

• Water Bottle
• Motion Sickness Medication (as needed)
