Cancellation Policy

Weather Cancellation & Safety Policy

At DFW Surf, safety is our top priority. We closely monitor weather conditions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

We will cancel or reschedule paddle tours if:
Winds exceed 20 mph – Strong winds create unsafe conditions for paddlers.
Lightning or thunderstorms are in the forecast – We do not paddle if lightning is detected within 10 miles.
Heavy rain or extreme weather advisories – If rain significantly reduces visibility or creates hazardous conditions.
Extreme temperatures – If conditions are unsafe due to excessive heat or cold.

What Happens If We Cancel?
- You will be notified at least 1 hours in advance if we need to cancel due to weather.
- We offer rescheduling, credit toward a future tour or refund to .
- If the weather improves and conditions are safe, we will proceed as scheduled.

Participant Responsibilities:
- Check your email or messages for weather updates before heading out.
- Dress appropriately for changing weather conditions.
