About Dolphin Dreaming
- Dolphin watching and coral reef snorkeling on Kona's crystal clear coastline.
- Beginner snorkelers are welcome, as are advanced snorkelers and swimmers.
Itinerary
- We cruise from the Keauhou Harbor out into crystal clear blue waters.
- While underway, the captain will be searching for dolphins close to shore, and your crew will provide an educational briefing on Kona's sealife.
- We often find dolphins close to shore in small family groups, or pods, of 5-30 individuals. These small family pods are resting and socializing in shallow, clear water along the coast. They prefer protected bay-like areas, which provide a calm environment for the dolphin to sleep periodically throughout the day.
- In addition to dolphin watching, this tour includes snorkeling in the best snorkel bays on the Big Island. Your Captain will lead you to one or more locations to swim amongst the coral reefs, abundant schools of fish, and wildlife that includes manta rays, Hawaiian spinner dolphins, spotted dolphins, and a wide variety of sea life on Kona's magical coastline.

##Meet Us At Keauhou Harbor
Please arrive 15 minutes before your tour’s departure time. We’ll meet you at the boat ramp at Keauhou Small Boat Harbor. Our boat will pull into the ramp shortly before your tour’s time of departure, and our crew will get you checked in and ready to go.

##Things To Bring
We recommend wearing your swimsuit to the harbor, and applying reef-safe sunscreen before you board the vessel. A towel, hat, and sunglasses are also recommended.
This tour includes snorkeling gear, and you are welcome to bring your own.
You may bring your own waterproof camera, or you can rent a GoPro from us. If you would like to rent a GoPro, please call us to reserve one for your tour.

Our boat is fully equipped with quality snorkeling gear and fins for you. If you have your own gear, you're welcome to bring it. If you need a wetsuit, please call us to reserve one for your tour.

##Motion Sickness
If you get motion sickness, we recommend taking an over-the-counter medication such as non-drowsy Bo-nine. Many guests also find relief from using the wristbands that apply pressure to your wrists.

##Weather Conditions
Kona’s ocean waters are typically calm, but we are sometimes forced to reschedule tours due to unsafe conditions. If high winds or surf are forecasted for the day of your tour, please have your phone available in case we need to contact you. Any cancellations due to weather will be issued a trip on another tour, or a full refund.
