##PARKING
There is free parking in the "Foot Passenger Parking Lot." This is the second entrance once you arrive at the Lewes Ferry Terminal. Do not go to the toll booth at the first entrance. After parking, walk across the big grass lawn to the pier entrance. You do not need to go inside the terminal building. The entrance to the pier is near the playground. Look for our vessel and crew at the end of the pier.

##TOUR DESCRIPTION##
Head out in search of dolphins with our friends from the [MERR Institute](https://www.merrinstitute.org/) and, if you choose to participate, help collect valuable data on local dolphin populations in the process.
Join members of the Marine Education Research and Rehabilitation Institute aboard a Cape Water Tours vessel as we learn about the various marine mammals and sea turtle species native to the area. Scan the waters for dolphin activity and take an active role as a “marine biologist for a day” as you help gather valuable information on local dolphin activity.
For 25 years, MERR has responded to more than 1,500 strandings of the 36 species of threatened and endangered marine species in Delaware’s waterways. Guests of the tour will be provided special field reports to help identify any dolphin activity which assists MERR in the monitoring of the species and ensures their future protection. Feel free to bring snacks and drinks.
