About
- Our small numbers ensures quality service and support, inclusive of rod/reels, bait/tackle, light lunch, water and soft drinks. BYO alcohol is permitted.
- Trips run from 8.30am to 4.30pm from the Port Douglas Marina. We will bag your catches for you should you choose to keep them.
- Targeted species during the course of the day can include: Coral Trout, Nannygai, Red Emperor, Trevally and Mackerel species amongst a host of others. These fish are found on the outer reef some 40 miles offshore. Locations are normally reached within 60 minutes of departure.

This activity is a weather dependent. Your safety is our top priority, if it is not safe to go out in the open water, we will relay the information as soon as possible.

Cancellation Policy
By booking a charter with Dragon Lady Fishing Charters, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully prior to confirming your booking.
Shared Charters:
Full payment must be made at the time of booking.
Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to departure will receive a refund, minus the booking fee and a 10% administration fee.
Cancellations or modifications made within 7 days of departure will forfeit the full booking amount.
No refunds or bookings modifications will be issued for no-shows.
All times referenced are in Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).
Private Charters:
A deposit of 25% of the total charter cost is required to secure the selected date.
Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
Payment of the balance must be paid 14 days prior to the scheduled date.
Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to departure will receive a refund, minus the booking fee and a 10% administration fee.
Cancellations or modifications made within 14 days of departure will forfeit the full deposit amount.
No refunds or bookings modifications will be issued for no-shows.

Cancellations by Dragon Lady Fishing Charters:
Safety and reliability are our top priorities. In the event of a cancellation due to unsafe sea conditions, severe weather, or mechanical issues, as determined by the skipper, customers will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule (subject to availability).
Dragon Lady Charters is not responsible for any incidental costs incurred due to cancellation, such as travel or accommodation expenses.
Liability:
All passengers participate at their own risk.
Dragon Lady Fishing Charters accepts no liability for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
Passengers must follow the instructions of the skipper and crew at all times to ensure safety.
Force Majeure:
Dragon Lady Charters shall not be held liable for failure to provide services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather events, natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, acts of war, or other unforeseen circumstances.
In the event of cancellation due to Force Majeure, no refunds will be issued. We strongly recommend that all passengers obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected disruptions, cancellations, or losses beyond our control.

Refund Process:
Refunds, when applicable, will be processed using the same payment method used for the original booking.
Amendments to Terms:
Dragon Lady Charters reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Any changes will take effect immediately upon being published on our website.
