We begin our Paddle of the West Thumb Geyser Basin early. (*7:30 AM June/July/August--
*8:30 AM Sept/Oct) Wrapping up the tour in around 5 hours allowing you to enjoy the rest of your afternoon in the park. Join us today for a fun filled educational experience as you paddle the shores of North America's Largest High Alpine Lake! You will traverse 3 miles of wilderness with the opportunity to view active geyser features from the unique perspective of being on the water. Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch on the beach with salami, cheese and crackers, fresh fruit and much more. Very few places in the world can you access such incredible scenery with such ease! -Lightweight wind pants made of synthetic quick drying material
- Socks and Shoes that you don’t mind getting wet (your feet may get wet getting in and out of the kayaks)
-Warm Jacket/Beanie
-Rain Jacket
-Dress in layers as the temperature will fluctuate at 8000' above sea level.
- Change of warm dry clothes (even in the middle of summer Wyoming is windy and can be very cold after being on the water)
- Sunscreen

Booking Notes
The weather in Yellowstone can vary greatly and change quickly. Afternoon showers and passing thunderstorms are a possibility. We recommend you arrive dressed according to the weather. Dressing in layers is best, with clothing made of quick-drying material (no cotton), a mid-weight shirt of wicking material (wool or synthetic), and shoes that you don’t mind getting wet. Please note there is limited cell coverage in the park so please plan ahead in regards to navigation. Expect there to be at least some degree of traffic congestion and plan accordingly. Out of respect to our other guests, if your party is more than 15 minutes late, the tour will depart without waiting.
