About
Do you want to increase your bottom time, shorten your surface interval and improve safety margins on your dives? This specialty course will teach you dive planning, physics and physiology of Enriched Air Nitrox up to 40% oxygen.
We offer this specialty course with or without dives. If you are just looking for theory and practical skills to analyse and mark your cylinder and you feel confident going on from there on your own, the no-dive Nitrox course is for you. If, on the other hand you would like to come experience the HMAS Swan Wreck as your first dive using Nitrox, add the double dive to your course booking!

- Open Water Dive certification
- Age 10+
- Participants under 18 years old require a parent / guardian to complete application and liability form

Schedule
- Theory - 1 hr of theory and tank analysis
- Dives (optional) - Join the HMAS Swan double dive charter and head out on the boat for the day to dive using Nitrox!

- Complete the e-learning and final exam
What to bring if diving
- Obtain or hire all required dive equipment, including a dive computer with Nitrox capabilities (visit us in store for recommendations)
- Bathers, towel, hat and sunscreen
- Water bottle and snacks
- GP signed medical form (if applicable)
- Participants under 18 must have liability forms signed by a parent / guardian

Before the course starts there is some e-learning for you to complete. Please create an account on TDISDI website here: https://portal.tdisdi.com/register? and email us to let us know when this is done and we can assign you the code for the e-learning. You can then login to your SDI account and enroll by going to 'My elearning' and 'pending enrollments'. Happy learning!

**Requirements**
Before coming in for your Nitrox course, please have a read through the SDI medical form. If you answer yes to any questions on this form you will need a doctor to sign the medical prior to coming in. Please ensure you read this far enough in advance to allow for making an appointment if necessary.

Cancellation Policy
All trips are dependent on weather conditions and minimum numbers met. Swan Dive reserves the right to cancel or postpone a tour, charter or service if minimum numbers to run a tour isn't met or if the weather conditions make it unsafe or unpleasant. Swan Dive is not financially responsible for delays, cancellations or any other causes that this affects in. In these circumstances, or where customer changes are requested more than 14 days prior to the commencement of the course, customers will receive a refund, excluding e-learning fee ($300), or a full credit to reschedule the course. Within 14 days of the course commencing, rescheduling will incur a $200 fee and cancellations will receive a 50% refund. Within 48 hours and no-shows will not receive a refund or credit. Please contact us by phone to cancel or rebook. To request dives not completed during your course to be rebooked to a later date will incur a $200 fee each time. Full payment for the course must be made at least 14 days prior to commencement.
