No check-in is necessary—we'll contact you the day before your trip to touch base about any final details or questions.

Please note the following important information:

Wader Rentals: Wader rentals are not included in the trip pricing and must be rented before your running trip. We recommend picking up your waders the day before at Duranglers Flies and Supplies, located at 923 Main Ave, Durango, CO 81301 (phone: 970-799-5246).

Fishing License: You are responsible for obtaining your own valid fishing license. (Note: Participants 12 years or older require a fishing license.) Purchase one online at New Mexico Fish & Wildlife.

State Parks Pass: If you’re driving your own vehicle, a $10 per day fee for Navajo State Park Day Use is not included.

Guide Gratuity: A customary tip of approximately 20% of your trip total is not included.

What's Included:
Professional Fishing Guide: A skilled and knowledgeable guide who knows the San Juan River inside and out.

Fly Fishing Gear: We provide rods, reels, and terminal tackle.

Safety Equipment: Life jackets for float trips and other necessary safety gear.

Other things to Remember:

Fishing License for New Mexico: Purchase online at New Mexico Fish & Wildlife. If you experience any issues online, you can buy a license at Float 'n Fish (4 Rd 4251, Navajo Dam, NM 87419).

What to Bring: Hat, sunglasses, long-sleeve sun shirt, sunscreen, and either a light jacket or rain gear (or cold weather gear, depending on the forecast).

Payment Information: A deposit has been made online. The remaining balance is due on the day of the trip and will be processed via Auto-Pay. Alternative payment methods include cash, credit card, Venmo, or a secure payment link if preferred.

Cancellation Policy

A 50% deposit is required to book your trip.

Cancellations: Cancellations made 15 or more days before your trip are eligible for a refund, minus a cancellation fee of 10% of the total booking amount or $50, whichever is greater.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the trip may forfeit the full deposit.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the trip or no-shows will forfeit the full trip amount.

Rescheduling:You may reschedule your trip once, at no charge, if done at least 14 days in advance. Rescheduling within 14 days of your trip may result in forfeiture of your deposit.
Multiple date changes are not permitted and will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Weather: Trips may be rescheduled or adjusted at the guide’s discretion due to unsafe weather or water conditions (e.g., lightning, extreme high/low flows). In such cases, we’ll do our best to accommodate a new date or offer a refund of payments made.
