Thank you for joining WDC and AWSC on Expedition 2026: White Sharks and Whales!
This email confirmation is your ticket for admission to Expedition 2026: White Sharks and Whales from Plymouth, MA. Please present this email electronically upon arrival for your admission. Booking details with information pertaining to the date and number of tickets you purchased are listed at the end of this email.
We will be communicating important information regarding the expedition through email. Since you purchased tickets with this email address, please note that all correspondence will be sent to this email, including cancellations.
Between now and the day of your trip, we will send detailed information related to parking, day-of schedule, what to bring, and what to expect. Please keep an eye out for these emails. Any questions can be directed to ecotours@atlanticwhiteshark.org.
Now that you have confirmed your tickets, it’s never too early to start planning the rest of your trip! The boat departs promptly at 8 AM and we will begin boarding at 7:30 AM. For this reason, we do recommend that anyone joining from afar plan to stay in the area the night before. Please check out the Destination Plymouth website for more information about dining, shopping, and other attractions in the area. In addition, here are some additional resources for finding lodging: : AAA, Air B& B, Massachusetts Vacation.com, and Trip Advisor. AWSC and WDC are not responsible for passenger travel or accommodation fees in the event of cancellation.

**THESE TRIPS ARE DEPENDENT ON WEATHER AND SEA CONDITIONS.**
These trips are run using The Tales of the Sea, a vessel owned and operated by Captain John Boats. The Tails of the Sea is a whale watch boat which gives us a raised view of all marine wildlife, including white sharks. The benefit of this raised view is that you can see sharks who are deeper in the water and would be tough to see from a boat which was lower to the water. Due to the size of the Tails of the Sea, we do have to stay in water that is at least 10 feet deep, which may determine which areas we can go to for viewing sharks.

Meals are not included in the ticket price (this is new in 2026). Passengers are responsible for bringing their own meals onboard. We recommend a breakfast item, lunch, snacks, and water for the day. NO GLASS CONTAINERS ARE ALLOWED ONBOARD. There is a galley on board with a variety of food and drink offerings; please note that it is cash only.
Tickets are not transferable between dates. Please double check your calendar before purchasing to ensure you are buying for a date that works for you.

Cancellation Policy
Refunds (minus a $25.00/ticket service fee) may be made up until 30 days prior to the event:
For July 10th, last day for refunds is June 10, 2026
For August 22nd, last day for refunds is July 23, 2026
For September 12th, last day for refunds is August 13, 2026
For September 26th, last day for refunds is August 27, 2026
All cancellations/refund requests must be made directly to AWSC via email at ecotours@atlanticwhiteshark.org. If you submit a refund request after the 30 day advance mark outlined above, you will not be granted a refund.
If poor weather leads to Captain John Boats deciding it is unsafe to be on the water, requiring us to cancel the trip, we will issue a full refund to all trip participants (minus a $25/ ticket service fee).
