Congratulations on reeling in the adventure with Kodiak Kings! Here are some details for your trip:
We provide all your fishing gear and tackle.
What's included
At Kodiak Kings, we provide the finest fishing gear available. We fish Diawa rods and Penn reels. We use Scotty electric downriggers and are equipped with state-of-the-art Garmin electronics. Kodiak Kings will provide all necessary tackle, bait, and ice to harvest and preserve your catch.
What's not included
Bring food and drinks for the day.
Your catch will be bled and kept on slush ice until we return to the dock. At that point, you are free to choose and take your catch to one of the local custom processors to have your fish packaged to your specifications, frozen, and arrange shipping.
In Kodiak, we have a saying “If you don’t like the weather, just wait a minute.” We fish rain or shine and always recommend our guests bring their rain gear and a warm sweatshirt or jacket. The cabin of the Miss Kendal is very comfortable, warm, and dry but that isn’t where the action happens.
Halibut - We do not have a Charter Halibut Permit for the 2026 Season. Guests are not able to keep Halibut they catch. Halibut caught MUST be released.
