About
Want the kids to try something fun and healthy these school holidays? Why not enrol them in one of our 5 day school holiday programs. These groups run every Monday to Friday of the school holidays and are open to all kids aged 5-14 years old.
DURING THE WEEK, KIDS WILL LEARN:
- Surf safety and awareness
- Stand-up procedures
- Surf specific stretches
- How to control and manoeuvre the surfboard
- Surfboard design and technology
FOR THOSE WITH PREVIOUS SURFING EXPERIENCE, WE WILL INTRODUCE YOU TO MORE ADVANCED SKILLS SUCH AS:
- Riding along the wave
- Turning
- Duck diving
- Reading surf conditions
What to Bring
Kids who enrol in our ‘Performance Surf Coaching’ course will most likely have their own surfboards which they are encouraged to bring. Also bring other surfing equipment including wetsuits, towel, sunscreen etc
