Gloucester Schooner Festival is a vibrant, informative place for people of like schooning mind to get together and admire one another's traditional boats, before the Annual Gloucester Schooner Festival’s Mayor’s Cup Race. The perfect homage to the sailing industry that built America, come and join us for a Grand Day Out with a trip up to Gloucester and some spectacular boat viewing as we race. Boarding at 9:30am and getting underway for the parade of sail past the Fishermen’s Memorial on our way to the 1pm start of the Mayor's Cup Race off Eastern Point.

Hi! Thank you for choosing Malabar X at the Gloucester Schooner Festival. We're excited to have you come sailing with us, please take note of the following before your trip:
**WE ARE LOCATED AT THE FLOATING DOCK AT 63 ROGERS ST, GLOUCESTER, MA, 01930**
This is a large parking lot right by the boat so there should be plenty of room to park - please be sure to arrive in good time and be ready to board 15 minutes prior to your departure time.
There are portapotties available for use at the dock during the festival, and there is a restroom aboard your vessel, though as it is quite a unique vintage bronze mechanism we recommend getting comfortable before departure if possible!

A light Race lunch of subs and snacks will be provided as well as bottled water and La Croix. Should you wish to bring your own food and/or soft drinks we can accommodate small soft cooler bags. No hard coolers please!
PLEASE BRING:
Weatherwear: Even on these lazy hazy summer days it can be cool out on the water, and sometimes chilly after sunset. Please bring a sweater/jacket/windbreaker even if the day seems warm to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable sail.
Sun Protection: Don’t forget sunscreen, and be prepared for the temperature to be 10-15 degrees cooler out on the water.
**Gratuity: Gratuity for the crew is not automatically included but it is gratefully received! Customary gratuity is 15-20% of trip price. At your request gratuity can be added to your credit card or paid directly to the crew in cash after the trip.**

CANCELLATION POLICY
Items cancelled by guests outside 48 hours are entitled to a full refund minus a 10% admin fee.
Items cancelled by guests within 48 hours and no-shows will not be compensated.
If the weather is inclement and the ship does not sail we will do our best to reschedule you. In the event that we can't, you will be fully refunded.
If the ship sails and you choose not to go, no compensation will be available though we will try to re-book you. Trips already rescheduled by guests are not eligible for cancellation by guests.
