##Important Info
Please ensure that all participants have completed an Acknowledgement & Assumption of Risk form prior to the trip date.
Helpful things to bring: water bottle, hat, sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses.
Wear comfortable, moisture-wicking clothing and closed-toe shoes or shoes that securely strap to the back of your foot.
PFDs (lifejackets) are required to be worn properly at all times during your rental.
No drugs or alcohol are permitted prior to or during your rental.
Please do not take possessions in the boat that are irreplaceable; while we take every precaution to avoid boat flips the inherent possibility of capsize is always present.
Venture Outdoors is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

Cancellation Policy
Groups can cancel and receive a full refund up to 10 days before the outing. Within 10 days, a gift card can be issued for the full amount of the booking, the outing can be rescheduled for a later date, a refund to a credit card can be processed with a 30% service fee kept by Venture Outdoors, or the total of the booking can be donated to Venture Outdoors.
To adjust a reservation (change of date, time, number of paddlers, etc.) please email kayakpittsburgh@ventureoutdoors.org. Participant numbers can be altered up to 10 days before the outing. Within 10 days, any adjustments will be reimbursed in the form of a gift card.
Venture Outdoors trips occur rain or shine outside of sever weather. If your booking must be canceled due to severe weather or water conditions, we will alert you via email and text message. The outing would then be rescheduled or refunded.
