Booking Notes

For your trip, we will provide you with kayaks, personal flotation devices (PFD), paddles and a Guide.
What to wear:
Regular shoes, river shoes or sandals that will stay on your feet.
Plan that you could get wet! Dress for the anticipated weather of the day
We recommend bringing water to drink and sunblock.
Holders/croakies for glasses or sunglasses
Waterproof holders for phones. (don’t bring anything you don’t want wet!)
Be sure to bring a towel and a change of clothes for after your trip. Plan that you will get wet!
Please arrive at scheduled time to get fitted for PFD’s.

Meeting Location: (You do not come to our office address in Bryson City!) Put this in your GPS: (Use Google) “Tsali Boating Access Ramp”: (This is in the “Tsali Recreation Area” right below “Tsali Campground) From Bryson City, follow Hwy 74 West and merge onto 28 North. Go 3.5 miles and turn right on Tsali Road. Go 1.8 miles down the road. Come ALL the way down to the very bottom of the road. Keep coming all the way to the very bottom parking area PAST the WILDLIFE sign. Look for our black SUV with trailer attached.

Please note: There are no bathrooms or changing rooms down by the lake access but there are some in the bike parking area above the launch.
