For your trip, Carolina Bound Adventures provides a Certified Guide, SUP (Stand Up Paddle Board w/paddle, PFD (Personal flotation Device), Dry Bag for personal belongings & Adventure!
What to wear: Clothing and footwear you dont mind getting wet & muddy. It will happen! Dress for the weather of the day! Think “layering”
What to bring: Water for each participant ~Hydration is important!
Sunglasses/Glasses strapholder ~ the lake loves these items!
Towel/Change of Clothes for after tour.
Please note: There are no bathrooms or Changing rooms down by the lake access. Restrooms are in the Tsali Bike Parking Area above the launch.
Meeting Location: Put this in your GPS: “Tsali Boating Access Ramp”: (This is in the “Tsali Recreation Area”)
From Bryson City, follow Hwy 74 West and merge onto 28 North. Go 3.5 miles and turn right on Tsali Road. Go 1.8 miles down the road. Come ALL the way down the road to the very bottom at the gravel parking lot. Look for our black SUV with trailer attached.
