## Rental Info

This self-guided kayak rental is perfect for a relaxed paddle on Tomales Bay at your own pace.

Please arrive **15 minutes early** to allow time for check-in and orientation.

### What to Wear
- Quick-dry clothing (synthetic or wool)
- Windbreaker or light jacket
- Shoes that can get wet
- No flip-flops

### What to Bring
- Water bottle
- Snacks
- Sun protection

Kayak, paddle, and life jacket are provided.

###General Directions
From the town of Point Reyes Station it's about 20 minutes (9.5 miles). Take Sir Frances Drake Blvd. to Pierce Point Road to the entrance of Tomales Bay State Park and continue driving approximately 1 mile to reach the Heart’s Desire Beach parking lot.

### Parking
- $8 per vehicle entrance fee
- $7 for guests age 62+
- Credit or debit card only
- Citations may be issued for nonpayment

###Arrival & General Reminders
- Please arrive 15–30 minutes early to allow time for parking, restrooms, and adjusting layers
- Carpool when possible
- Wear shoes that can get wet: Sport sandals (Chacos, Keens, Tevas); Wetsuit booties or aqua socks; Old sneakers or hiking boots with wool socks; Rubber boots also work well; No flip-flops, please

### Waiver Reminder
All participants must complete the **online waiver** before arrival. This email may be forwarded so others in your group can sign their waiver.

### Cancellation Policy
- 5% non-refundable handling fee applies to all bookings
- Refunds available up to 7 days prior (minus handling fee)
- Within 7 days: reservations are final unless canceled due to weather
- Weather cancellations:
-- Before launch: reschedule or refund (minus handling fee)
-- After launch (within first hour): reschedule or receive a 50% refund

###Gratuities
Unless requested at the time of booking, gratuities are not included in your tour or class cost. Please share your appreciation with our tour guides. (15 to 20% gratuity is customary in our industry.)
