___________________________________ Alki Kayak Tours is working on cutting edge development of SUP instruction in the Pacific NW. We have aligned our program with the ACA curriculum so we can give you the tools to safely and effectively enjoy the growing sport of Stand Up Paddle Boarding.
We will focus on learning:
How to dress properly for water sports
Equipment use and care
Basic paddle strokes
Basic recovery
Basic stances and finding board balance
This is an immersion class, so come prepared to get wet!
While SUP is the easiest and most accessible way to get on the water, it is crucial you follow maritime rules and have the skills to safely explore NW paddle routes.
