Rent a Kayak and be sure to add on snorkel gear and a dry bag if you didn't bring any with you. This kayaking location has some great snorkel spots and the Kaneohe Bay Sandbar as your destination.

Head out on your kayak into Kaneohe Bay, for some great paddling and amazing views. On this kayaking experience, you'll be able to go at your own pace and have plenty of time to explore.
Meeting Location
We will be meeting you at our storefront in Kailua. There we will help you get your kayaks set, provide you with all the gear you rented, give you a quick demo, a safety talk, and then let you explore. From there it is a 20-minute drive to the harbor where you will launch the kayaks. Feel free to ask the local guide at the shop any questions before heading out on your kayak rental.
Kaneohe Bay
The kayaking in Kaneohe Bay is generally very mild with a constant breeze towards the shore. Conditions are best in the mornings. It's good for beginners during calm weather. You will also have a great chance to check out the beautiful coral reef and explore the Kaneohe Bay Sandbar.

If you are looking for the best Oahu snorkeling adventure, this is it (so rent or bring your own snorkel gear). You will paddle through the ocean over sunken coral islands in a bay sheltered by a barrier reef. You are free to snorkel or just view the reef from your kayak.

Please look at the reef and sea life, but don't touch them. The reef is alive, so take care not to disturb it.

This experience is recommended for adventurous people who just need the right gear and direction to go. We have everything you need to live your adventure.

Booking Notes

- Wear a swimsuit and reef-safe sunscreen
- If snorkeling, make sure you are capable of getting in and out of the kayak in the water
- 15L Dry bags are provided for items you want to keep dry
- If you bring snacks and water, be sure to pack out the trash.
- Life jackets, seatbacks, paddles, and a kayak leash are provided
